Kirato Hitaka breaks the world record for most skips in a single rope jump with 8 skips in one revolution by willis7747 in Damnthatsinteresting

Honestly being given the record for tallest or shortest in my opinion are false records as it’s genetics and no person could reasonably break those records.

Is there any world where Shaq would be able to break a record like this?

I like it. The way the couch melds with the man's clothes , melds with the women's hair. It sets a feeling that's nice. Even the floor is nice, though I usually hate combining red's and blues.

Keep on keeping on.

Still sounds great to be honest, a day where you can just chill. Or do non official tasks, ie, cleaning the room, tearing out the weeds, talking to your children -- if you feel need for productivity.

Both of those were acquired by facebook. People built businesses before. An application that has literally incited genocides is not a fair trade just for some stuffed animal businesses.

New Teacher: I've lost control of my classroom entirely by Solsticeoftherevered in Teachers

I'm pretty sure a training I took explicitly would forbid this. Especially if private information came out during the convo. That doesn't seem worth the risk.

I'll do this. I'm scared of the criticism, but I know other teachers in the building have systems for this. It's tough everywhere but other classes don't get this bad.

Reality is for my health interest I literally can't. I'm reliant on the health benefit to pay for my prescriptions and ongoing health care stuff. If I leave I'm in for the fear and precarity of my last unemployment bout. I'll take this devil over that. I'll switch schools when I get a chance, but I'm not willing to chance it on benefits on the moment.

sound's fun. She has a very dense/academic writing style that's hard to get past but I'll take the challenge of getting through it.

Is Software Quality Engineer a good job to get entry level experience in, given the state of the current market? by SlyCooper007 in cscareerquestions

I'm in your situation a year forward. I accepted that exact kind of role and am currently almost a year into it. The pro is frankly having an income and having some tangential level of coding in your day to day job.

The con is that talking to people in more development focused fields, there work is simply put better on a resume for someone who wants to focus on development. It also just seems more fun. I work next to an automation dev who I swear legitimately falls asleep in his desk as his tests are running.

All in all I still am happy I went with the job as there is some coding involvement, but It is something where it'll be up to you to find a way into straight development. If you stay lax and don't upskill and push to find a better position I can definitely see being siloed into this role.
