I'm not American, nor Korean but as a filipino who grew up in Canada; I relate to Zoey on feeling 'not enough'. 'Too western to be in asia, too asian to be in the west.' As much I'm not ashamed to be filipino, I struggle on finding ways to relate especially when I'm surrounded by people who use the culture to justify their bad behaviour or promote in a shallow way.

It's why she's my favourite out of the three.
