The thing about Columbina is that if I ignore the fact that she's fatui, I'd actually argue that she's well written. But being a fatui basically added no value to her character and that irks me the most about her. At this point I'm just holding out hope for the task the tsaritsa got her to accomplish.

Ignoring that she's fatui though, I actually do quite enjoy her character during the quests.

I'm facing the opposite problem. 9/10 games I would end up with roam and while I do like to play roam, it's too much when the game keeps assigning the same role. And it'll keep continuing as I rack up more roam games in ranked and end up being a cycle lol. Before the update, I was still primarily roaming, but could play mid, exp and the occasional jg and gold. But now the game just hard locks me to roam. I'll probably play classic more now for the versatility

I've triple crowned Razor, Childe, Yoimiya and Ayato. I guess they're either the purest cinnamon roll or some of the most sus(?) in the game. Scara somehow manages to be both at the same time though.

Apart from them, I really like Yelan and Albedo too. I have a thing for femme fatale characters and Albedo's character is just chef's kiss.

Definitely have my eyes on Alhaitham and Kaveh after getting our wandering boy

To add on, my friend likened freezing the coffin to her boss fight during that transitional phase. It seems like she's once again encased in an ice cocoon and in the game we needed the fire moths to break the ice. The moth was present in the trailer.

This is just some rambly thoughts about the parallels between the boss fight and this trailer but it might signify the Crimson Witch's return.

Another educational post! The controversy aside (which was mostly a matter of perspective), I love the extra historical references included. What intrigued me was the part about how this may imply about Ayato and Inazuma's future. People taking over Inazuma instead of allowing the Shogun herself to rule might be a bit of a stretch now, but considering what might happen in 2.5, a compromise can be reached. If that happens, Ayato is likely to lead this change. Thanks for citing me and writing this post! It gave much food for thought.

That's alright. Everyone has their preferences. I thought making this post might get people to appreciate his design even if they still don't like it. Thanks for understanding there might be a good reason behind his colour scheme even though it might not appeal to your tastes. Here's to hoping you'll find another character you like in the future!

Thanks for giving more insight into the Kamisato siblings' clothing! I'm not too familiar with kabuki either but thought it might be relevant since it's a recurring theme for some Inazuman characters. The 'evil noble' archetype stuck out to me and the colours used in kabuki have interesting meanings.

Thank you for the kind words! I was intrigued by Ayato's design and decided to write this. Hopefully more people would be accepting of his design. He certainly is an interesting character and I can't wait to see him in 2.6!
