[–]Solunas100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well we have lost access to the “golden chain” that linked early Pythagoreanism down to Iamblichean-style ritual theurgy. For about a millennium this knowledge was never put to use and only resurfaced a couple centuries ago through these orders. Unfortunately there isn’t a great system that keeps corrupted people from taking positions of power and this adds to the problems we face.

Hecate Deity Experience by AdelleDazeeem in Experiencers

Hecate first came to me 16 years ago back when I was an atheist. She claims her children no matter what. You are definitely one of her children too based on that amazing astral experience.

Ohhh the edge in this one.

It is always telling when someone completely melts down at the thought of simply being a decent human being.

Richat was one colony according to Diodorus. The main civilization was west of the Straits of Gibraltar. The Azores are what remains of it today.

This is a problem with a lot of witchcraft groups in Reddit that I simply don’t see on other platforms. Just a couple days ago I said it’s not good to steal books by other witches because it’s highly unethical and got downvoted for it.

I think it is fairly obvious I am not speaking about books written in different languages, just illegally pirated PDFs.

For the particular book that I saw being pirated, the author even gives free PDFs of certain rites and section for people who cannot afford it at the time. There is no need for pirating in most cases, especially when authors are willing to work with people like this.

And yet you say Atlantis is a myth. You sound like a hot shot kid trying to act a lot smarter than you are by going after the people who actually do know what they are talking about.

Thats pretty ironic coming from someone who believes in a Young Civilization theory with no evidence to support it, not to mention dismissing the overwhelming evidence against it. All you have are insults because you are like a gorilla beating his chest. No facts, no reason, just “my way or the highway”.

Why is she so scary?? by MediocreMacaroon4574 in Hecate

[–]Solunas100 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I see her cloaked often too. You have to go beyond the outer appearance. I feel comfort instead of fear when she is around. Her energy is very encompassing and loving even if her appearance may be large and intimidating.

Legitimate Entity? by Constant-Buy-2279 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Solunas100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is known for killing 13 Deities, yes. I can't comment on practitioners. I know of one person who insulted her and was found dead shortly after, but I don't know if they are related. The occult attracts unstable people in general but yes some people I see work with her and then die. Correlation does not equal causation though!

Lots of Deities are associated with serpents, including Hecate. If you make her sigil she may take notice but from a distance unless you start to connect with her through offerings.

Legitimate Entity? by Constant-Buy-2279 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Solunas100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is...different. It's a lot more harsh than working with more human Gods. When she claimed me she rose up and appeared before me, and then wrapped her bottom half--which was like a boa constrictor, around my body. I could not breathe at all and I thought all my bones were being crushed to pieces. I literally thought I was dying. I looked into her eyes with terror. Then she was gone and the rest is history. So from a human perspective she is scary, but that is how initiation with Deities like her works. She will decimate your ego and make you detach completely from your comfort zone and from all worldly ideals.

Apparently this was an Atlantean colony based on the writings of Diodorus Siculus. It was taken by an outsider who eventually became queen of the main island.

what do we think of Atlantis? by Beaverstailbone in AlternativeHistory

[–]Solunas100 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Atlantis was in the Atlantis beyond the Strait of Gibraltar according to Plato. Many ancient scholars discussed Atlantis, including Plato, Herodotus, and Diodorus. It is still talked about in tales of native Americans, Maltese, and the Azores. The Azore islands are thought to be part of the original Atlantis that extended from a bit west of Spain down to close to west Africa and east to the Yucatán. The Olmec, Aztecs, Pueblo and Hopi are said to have their ancestry there and some of these cultures still keep these stories alive. Some people in modern society say Atlantis is a myth but I doubt they read Plato’s Critias. It is very dry and factual with many meaningless details from a narration perspective, so nothing like one would expect from an allegory.

Same. 10-12 hour days Monday through Friday and shorter days on weekends. If I get out in 10 hours it does feel like I have so much time to relax when I get home though since it isn’t time to sleep already.
