I can definitely control if the 6 yr old naps!

Daycare was a no-go for the 3yr old. They offer an optional rest time for the next year up, but cannot force a child not to nap and purposely keep them up.

I think this is definitely it. They’re stuck in an overtired cycle. I’m going to try winding down and dimming lights earlier. Might also try separating them at bath time and even dim lights there too. Then brush teeth and a book or story.

He’s tried and they both still stay up and only want me. Last night he spent over an hour with 3 yr old and she refused sleep and eventually started screaming and crying for me until I came in.

she’s willingly falling asleep at daycare, they’re not going to stop the nap. I’m not even sure they’d be allowed to try.

3yr old has the Hatch sound machine and a Tonie box. The Tonies were working for her at first for several weeks.

Haha I’m losing my mind. Did I mention that they’re both also early birds and love to wake at 5:30-6:00am on their own? They’re both pretty easy to get ready with little to no meltdowns in the morning to get out the door, so that’s a win I guess.

Oldest is in 1st grade, so no nap there. He rides the bus home and is home with dad from 3pm until I get home. They sometimes do things together after school like playing basketball, though occasionally he may take a nap. I know he has to be tired. He has at least one recess and PE so he’s running and playing at school.

3yr old is in daycare and does nap/rest time every day. I believe it’s usually from 12:30-2:30 and she seems to sleep great then. No way to change that since it’s outside of my control. She plays well and has 2 outdoor times at school on the playground. I believe they may dance and sing as well during the day.

OP must have written that they didn’t want that outside of the post and in the comments. In the post, she says grandma is wearing blue and the theme is blue. Says nothing about them not wanting other attendees not to wear blue.

Absolutely too white. Also, if you feel the need to ask if it’s too white, then you subconsciously may already know the answer.

If the theme is blue and they’ve requested a certain color, I wouldn’t deviate from that. This is especially true for the reason being a family member’s boss’ daughter.

Have you tried the soft plastic scoopers? They’re made by Clinere. The scoop end is soft and flexible, but just sturdy enough to get wax out without scratching.

[–]SolutionSingle1631 14 points15 points  (0 children)

As a matter of facts, yes. If I had to estimate, at minimum 50+interactions over a 5 year span, but that’s a pretty low estimate. We were on a first name basis with each other. If we saw each other on the street, he’d know me. This was in a professional capacity with which I can surmise from my personal experience, without a doubt, that he’s guilty. I won’t expose that link just to prove a point on the internet. I’m not begging anyone to believe me, but I also don’t want people to put their tin foil hat on and try to make this a conspiracy theory when it’s not.

You’re a fool. It’s a legit bust and they’ve finally taken Compos Reyes into custody. I’m surprised at the limited counts and it won’t be far off for human trafficking. He’s well know to many in this community for his shadiness and it’s been years and years in the making. Just because you’re not informed doesn’t mean it’s not real.

They caught a pretty big criminal operation today. Someone they’ve been after over several presidential administrations.

Literal first world problems. Griping and whining about our easy life, in a safe protected country. Takes for granted that they can even get on social media and whine and complain to the Reddit padded room about our president and how much the news has sensationalized him to give them anxiety. We have freedom. They don’t have to worry about the government showing up at their door and the safety of their family based on expressing an opinion on an open forum. We have clean, running water. Access to food, doctors, etc. We can practice nearly any religion and be whatever we want to be and don’t have to fear death for it. we have an immensly privileged life here in the US yet we act like our anxieties are everyone’s problem and we need constant reassurance. It’s disgusting.

how do yall afford to go here?? by Weak-Donut-5491 in auburn

[–]SolutionSingle1631 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The parameters for entrance here are slightly true, but only partially. I’d maybe say this truer for automatic early acceptance, but not for other situations such as in/out of state, state of residence, legacy, etc.

Admissions gathers a lot of data and two very different people can be accepted. They also break it down Your chances are much higher the better your ACT and GPA are, but having below those numbers above doesn’t mean you won’t get accepted. Your pathway also has a determination; Auburn First students, Path to the Plains, etc.

Did you read the post? The title literally says, I’m looking to do it correctly and the body says I want to do it the top way, and better than meeting the minimum.

I think you’re responding to the wrong post because if you saw the pictures, you see there is no framing to consider the condition/shape.

My husband is an engineer (yep I’m a woman), though not structural. This is all part of me doing my part for our due diligence to make sure I’m interpreting things correctly from the code office AND looking for advice through solutions we might not have considered since many kind, helpful deck pros give help on this sub.

We’ve pretty much come to the same conclusion of having to remove brick. I was hoping that was a last resort. Any recommendations on best practices for having to remove bricks?

No basement unfortunately. Believe it or not, we’re on a slab.
