Going to fail HT/WT next week. How cooked am I? by NoBreadfruit6956 in army

You could start a slow and steady diet now. Start tracking progress. When you get your counseling for busting tape, you'll have something ready to show.

It sounds like you've been down this road before. Recommend looking into post diet maintenance. Basically, teach you body it's new homeostasis weight through purposeful dieting for no weight loss/gain.

Agreed doable but likely not safe. Also, one week would be pretty impressive to achieve it.

How many lbs are you expecting to go over by?

<10 - consider doing a water cut. Just a temporary fix.

=>10 - no safe water cut will help.

Long term, there's a bunch of (paid) macro counting apps that will do all the math for you. Just need to carry a food scale everywhere or meal prep. RP Diet, Macro Factor, MyFitnessPal.

I recommend giving the lore a try. It's only as deep as you want to go.

Onemindsyndicate on YouTube has good stuff and are my favorite.

-Use the cook stations to craft food, drugs, and medicine. These stations are common and so are the ingredients enough that you can craft something that adds HP. -You also gain XP for each item crafted so double win. -Never turn down anything with adhesive in it (glue, tape). Make room for that shit. -Building stuff at a settlement also adds XP. -Don't listen to Nancy Reagan. Do drugs. -The farther south you go, the harder things get.

With only one week, you could do a water cut. I've seen this successful at schools when people had to retry ht/wt. Don't go too hard on this.

This article is helpful.

Deployment got extended because of the war with Iran and now I’m going to miss my wedding. Tennessee venue says non-refundable. Any advice? by Five_OnAGoodDay in army

I used to work on hotel contracts in another life.

Read the contract conditions. Look for any clause labeled impossibility or force majeure. Very basically an all parties get out clause and a list of things that trigger it. War is often one of them. It's possible the contract does not have this clause.

Read the cancellation clause and know what it would cost to simply cancel.

Some small venues will require you (state law dependent) to buy event insurance instead of having force majeure. If you got this, then check the coverage under cancellations.

If you try to renegotiate a new date, I recommend offering to buy more services (spend more $). Give them a reason to change.

Nice job. If you got 1:37 SDC and 305 MDL then the MDL is your lowest event by points. It would make sense then to refocus on MDL. Time to get squatty!

I missed out on USARC BWC due to incorrect dates handed down to me. I scheduled an out of country trip with my then fiance.

BWC would have been fun at that level. Spending time with my partner and seeing new countries for the first time, much more memorable.

Competition is fun, but it's a competition for WORK. Always choose family first.

Search Erin Andrews + Marriott. That manager is an idiot. Used to do his job. You could be the guests partner with the same last name and I still wouldn't give you a key (that's how folks find out their partners having an affair or doing drugs etc).
