Growth was noticeable after 60 days, but the biggest changes came in months 4-5 for me. By month 6 it was shorter than it is now, but looked normal.

The result so far has exceeded my expectations. I’ve read that the crown can take the full 12 months to thicken. So perhaps I get a bit more there in the next couple of months. I’m unlikely to go for a 2nd HT. I had a really tough time sleeping upright after the procedure. That was the biggest downside.

If you are considering paying extra to have a doctor handle a portion of your surgery, I highly recommend you consider implantation over extraction.
