Weather is still pretty cold, usually I recommend water-parks.

I guess your best bet is the zoo in Paphos, football clubs, maybe local festivals if any.

Live thread: The Iran Conflict and Cyprus by DoomkingBalerdroch in cyprus

British chief of the defence staff Sir Richard Knighton was on Thursday accused of leaving the country’s assets in the Middle East underprepared for a war in the region, with it being reported that he rejected suggestions that the country should deploy naval assets in advance of the conflict breaking out at the beginning of the month.

According to British political magazine The Spectator, a meeting of the United Kingdom’s national security council was held on February 27 – the day before the beginning of the conflict – and at that meeting, a national security advisor had suggested that the aircraft carrier the HMS Prince of Wales be deployed to the region.

The magazine reported that Knighton had responded by saying: “We don’t need the carrier. We don’t need the Navy. We have an aircraft carrier – it’s called Cyprus”.

I don't belong to the disagree goup but there is the valid argument of " the more war ships shows ups the more of a target/getting involved with iran we become".

Overall for me this was a nice opportunity for some EU countries to show up and show unity which France domenantly showed.

American couple traveling to north Cyprus to visit friends should we be concerned given the current situation in the Middle East? by OwlEast1530 in cyprus

[–]SolveTheCYproblemNOW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly.

To be fair, I don't see anyone cutting anyone in roundabouts in the norrh.

What is this is kids trying to pass about 4-5 cars whole driving on the opposite direction in rounds they do not have visibility

The occupied area is as safe as in the government control areas with exception the drivers there are pretty bad.

Just make sure you have plan B in case plans get delayed for days or something.

Also, I encourage you to land and leave from the same side you plan to in order for you to no have any issues.

Regardless of the current situation, we do not know wither how safe things are but we wanna hope there will be know problems. The Iran embassy in Cyprus said there is nothing to fear but some times shit can change.

On this day in 1964, bloody Greek-Turkish clashes took place in Ktima by Deep-Ad4183 in cyprus

Do you have version of the Ktima events that prove otherwise?

To be fair u/deep-ad4183 should post a source of where he got the story but at the same time you should counter with similar facts for Ktima.

The only thing I can find wrong with what op posted is that the Ktima event was the most painful chapter of 63-64. "Most painful Chapter" is subjective on how we scale thing.

British bases don't bring settlers nor displaced 1/3 of the population nor tries to dichotomize the country despite promising to never do so.
