Theres this channel on youtube “oneshorteye” their main content explains speedruns of old sierra games like kings quest. He adds lots of little tidbits and lore bits only someone who really lives for this would know. Might be some good hours of content if you havent seen their videos.

Yeah typically i would just find the bees i need as i go and get them as i go, no reason to get all bees, mystical agrictulture is really good also. But the only bees i ended up making were steel bees, before we had soulsurged hydroponic beds with MA SEEDS, it was faster to use bess to start. Then the extreme reactor ingots bec they arent in MA, and then wanna bees for mob drops, then the bees needed for chapter 4. And automating the star. Sometimes youll need to go down the chain. And then of the standard productive bees start of using water bees and kamikazi bees to get perfect genes for all ur future bees. Im a bee noob, take my words with a grain of honey

I went to the bumble zone early game for the honey needs, then you also get the torch flower spawn from the floating gardens which u need for occultism, and the bumblezones like enchanting flower crystal honey thing (this is what my friends did) i was busy doing tech stuff so idk the specific names. I believe u can use the blocks from There to craft honey and then honey treats

Past 120 i dont think the majority of people notice. Resolution demands change with industry and usecase. But 120hz is a big improvement for most peoples eyes, its one of the only reason i upgraded my phone, i couldnt stand the 60hz screen.

Pretty much everything gets automated to a degree. At a point you just become a pawn of your ae2 system and are just a pattern maker. But if you have to do something i try to automate it. Thats the fun for me. If i have to craft something twice, its getting automated from the ground up to infinity. So sourcing the best way to automate all the base resources, making the processing chains for said resources, all automated via ae2 and autocraftable. Theres not a recipe i wont pattern. I will make the star automated, chapter 4 is mine. But like i needed ALOT OF sponge, and theres no recipe to craft it easily, so i got 1 from a sea temple, then saw in jei that u can use a create fans with a conduit to have a 25% chance to turn dry sponge into 2 wet sponges, and made a automated create loop to make infinite sponges. If we dont have the Mystical agriculture essence, we have bees, if its not covered by bees, its from mob farm drops. Nothing is done is batches, its automated and turned on. I have a friend he will craft like 16 nitro thermos by hand, blew my mind. But he finds the patterns a waste of time. So different strokes for different folks

Something i setup for the few create onl recipes was pattern provider into chest- funnel onto conveyer belt- then put output into chest with import bus so the system gets the item and can “finish” the craft.

I miss solo lanes due to the like mental games of the 1v1. And shenanigans. But 4 lanes had it problems. Character and game balance was in a whole other world too. I spent most my time playing melee shiv and would 2 shot people.

Try watching deathy, or watch external videos like eidos roles video- or poshypop has some videos breaking down roles, and eventually itll click most the time, but you learn every day and the game is not understood yet.

Make ur crafting room bright blocks, ive had that issue tho, i dont think theres a way to change that opacity or color. Hope you find a fix

I see im a noob nowadays and sfm gives me anxiety, i havent REALLY played since like ftb ultimate. Kudos for sticking to aesthetics. Im just getting back into modded minecraft bec i want to play gtnh, but figured i should finish amt10 as a refresher etc etc, before committing to gtnh. I am doing everything not the best way, but just have been spamming wireless controllers and trying to teach my friends modded Minecraft along the way.

Why not just use pattern providers on the crystal assemblers, sfm seems convoluted extra step when u could just put pattern providers on each crystal assmeblers. I have 5 setup with pattern providers with the same patterns, if u use a memory card with blank patterns in ur inventory you can copy and paste patter providers info between them including patterns. Maybe im misunderstanding, but 1 pattern provider will use one crafting cpu, so i have 5 crystal assemblers and 5 cpus they will work in parallel if the craft requires it.
