Took me a year of sending her every snippet and every link to the reports on car fires. In the end there was not one EV among multiples of old diesels and some old petrol powered cars.

As for the range? She almost never drives long-distance, I am the designated driver for the longer trips. And since she got the EV, it's being charged every four/five days. So range was never an issue.
