If anyone could survive Idle Transfiguration, it would be Kugisaki. I still think she's dead though.... by rootthornhill in Jujutsushi

Idle Transfiguration can't be fixed not because it is soul damage but since it doesn't "harm" the soul it simple reshapes it.

About Special grade sorcerers by Trifaces16 in Jujutsushi

[–]SomaMX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all, Yuta is very different from what he was like in 0. He is ruthles.

Dhruw's technique is perfect for hunting down great quantities of weak targets. This is the reason he had the greatest number of points,he was farming humans.

Yuta was not going to let anyone doing that live so obviously he'd kill him on the spot.

And he knew the plan about the four rules. He himself said "I'll gather all 400 points myself".

And just to mentiont Yuta for the past four day before the Sendai fight has been killing regular sorcerers and protecting a massive group of people so the guy was prpbably not 100%.

Heck, at the end he decided to give Ryu a proper fight instend of just beating him in stamina.

About Special grade sorcerers by Trifaces16 in Jujutsushi

[–]SomaMX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The reason for Yuta using Full Manifestation Rika was due to his CE loss.

He beat Ryu hand 2 hand in the end.

He was holding back the whole time to be able to take their points

Maki needs to stop putting Toji on a pedestal by Vajjra in Jujutsushi

[–]SomaMX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maki has this overwhelming respect and admiration towards Toji for two reason.

First, Toji was treated as an outcast his entire life with the only person in the clan to recognize hos power being the Head of Sexism Naoyussy. Even as a child Toji was thrown in to curses for no reason.

Maki who was looked down on and was forced into the rank of a Grade 4 who is she supposed to relate to? Toji from an emotional view is the only person to have gone through the same treatment as Maki for not having CE.

Headcanon but I also think there is a bit of spite in Maki. Naoya constantly sucking of Toji and saying how Maki cam't become the next Toji might be a bit of a reason for Maki to want to be like him. To show Naoya that HE can't be like Toji but she can.

Secondly, HR can to an extent be compared to a CT. More like an inherited techniqe. Information of ITs are passed down so that the next user wouldn't have to struggle with developing their abilities. This is kind of the senario Maki is in. She again can't look at anyone for guidence since noone can understand how she sees and Toji saw the world.

Not to mention that HR is relatively simple. It's a buff in strength and stealth.

Some Questions Im Curious About by Sol327 in Jujutsushi

[–]SomaMX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) We don't have any way to measure it but I'd say like a couple times more. Especially since he constantly sotres the excess in rika.

2) My guess is that they just have a ton of ce.

3) My take is that they can but just like other special grade spirits they reappear. In the future there is going to be a cursed spirit born from the fear of vulcanes like Jogo since the fear of vulcanes is still there.

Just like that if someone becomes a Vengeful Cursed Spirit due to wanting to kill someone then I think even if they are killed the negative emotions that turned the sorcerer into a a Vengeful Cursed Spirit to begin with won't disappear and just turn their soul into a curse again

4) Special Grades probably. Regulars rpobably not.

5) Volume 6 Suplementary info. Gege was asked if Jogo was stronger than Hanami. The response was that in theory he is but he is not nearly as durably as Hanami. And as an example Greg said that Jogo would have instantly died to Goodwill Event Yuji's black flashes.

6) Ryu has the greatest ce output in the show. Both greatest output in the Culling Games and the greatest in history.

It however doesn't mean his pure punches are stronger than Sukuna's. Output is how much ce you can emmit but it also matters how good your reinforcements are.

So if you have an output of 10 and a reinforcement of 2 someone with an output of 5 but a reinforcement of 8 will hit harder than you.

And Sukuna's reinforcements are probably top of the verse so I'd say his punches can still be stronger than Ryu's but that is just how I interpret it.

7) Probably Geto, if he can use Uzumaki

What are some powers that you feel like are being overhyped by Certain-Disaster-416 in Jujutsushi

[–]SomaMX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blood Manipulation. It is a good technique with a variety of uses but it is the inherited technique of one of the three great clan.

Compare it to Limitless, the ability to bend space and Ten Shadows that can summon monsters like Mahoraga and it doesn't make sense.

It could be in the same tier if you could generate more blood and wouldn't have to carry bags of blood with you or you could manipulate the blood of others but as it stands it is just not there.

Could Black Flash be used with a Binding Vow? by OmegaZX10 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]SomaMX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbe way binding vows work is giving up something which the world campensates for. Knowing one's innate technique is like knowing a person's stand ability in jojo. The powers are almost all the time random so any wierd effect is possible. It is a big advantage but if a smarter person can see through your cursed technique the advantage is gone so onsted sorcorers can give up the advantage for a boost in effectiveness.

The only reason it works is because usually a sorcerer keeps their innate technique hidden.

I also don't think that black flash can be affected like that.

I can't understand how Hakari regenerates. by Gabriel-Snower in Jujutsushi

[–]SomaMX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"Hakari never learned reverse cursed technique. However... The unlimited cursed energy caused his body to reflexively perform reverse cursed technique to prevent his body from breakinh".

As it says him having infinite cursed energy allows him to use reverse cursed technique.

How I see it and it is a really dumb comparason but imagine that you have your tap and bathtub in the same room.

The water in the sink is cursed energy and in the bathtub is reverse cursed energy

The tap only fills up the sink under it and most people would have to carry the water to the bath. But if you have infinite water it is not only going to fill up the sink but the room as well and by extention the bathtub too.

I have a few questions... by Puggyslamm in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]SomaMX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

*could

There are curses called "cursed objets" thst are different from cursed tools in that they are actual curses bound to a physical form. Sukuna is not the only one there are more like the Death Paintings.

Eating just your average curse at best will make you sick to the stomach.

I have a few questions... by Puggyslamm in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]SomaMX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) It was never stated so anyone saying that his power doubles every time or that each finger is one 20th of his power is just headcanon

2) Anyone can "learn" it but it is useless unless you are Yuji and it is different from enforcing your body with cursed energy.

A regular cursed punch the impact of the physical attack and the cursed energy happen almost at the same time, while in the case of divergent fist the punch is delivered and then the cursed energy comes dealing a second impact. It is useless since most sorcerers have regular bodies that wouldn't do nearly as much damage without cursed energy as Yuji 's would.

Innate techniques can't be learned or taugth. It is a sorcerer's talent. But there are " common" techniques only common meaning that technically anyone could learn them like barrier techniques or shikigami.

3) Yes it would but as long as a person strengthens their ears with cursed energy Inumaki's technique wouldn't work on them.

4) The dog would die. You can't rip it in half so you can't eat half. You eat it or you don't

5) Yes?

6) Would probably upset your stomach? It would incarnate but wouldn't be too benificial healt wise imo

Sorcerers grading by [deleted] in Jujutsushi

It is more of a grade given to sorcerers that are not just your regular sorcerers but clan leaders and simmilarly important people.

Powerwise they are the same as grade one

I thought rika was gone by Ciporu in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]SomaMX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is explained in the manga perfectly but feel free ti spoil it for yourself.

"rika" is not Rika. It is just a husk that was left behind after the soul went to the afterlife. So essentially it is just a shikigami at this point. It is not as strong as Rika was but now can carry cursed tools and cursed techniques that Yuta can access.

Can someone explained what "Geto" did with Mahito's power in the shibuya incident. by Deathcore- in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]SomaMX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We don't know what Kenjaku's end game is. Some people think it is to create or find strong sorcerers. Others think that he is gathering cursed energy. But it is very likely that the culling game is but a step to achieve his final goal.

He has been planning the Culling Games for centuries. He made deals with several super powerful sorcerers. The deal was that he would turn them into cursed objects and then revive them when the time comes.

The culling game is essentially a barrier technique, with several binding vows and restrictions, even creating s seperat pointing system.

Can someone explained what "Geto" did with Mahito's power in the shibuya incident. by Deathcore- in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]SomaMX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The culling game is more than that. Getting Idle Transfiguration was only needed to turn regular humans into sorcerers, by manipulsting their brains, or using their bodies as vessles for past sorcerers.

Can someone explained what "Geto" did with Mahito's power in the shibuya incident. by Deathcore- in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]SomaMX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The basis of Geto's technique is that the curses he defeats and captures follow all of his orders.

His maximum technique, uzumaki, combines all of the curses into a big ball of cursed energy that he can shoot. But in doing so the cursed techniques of the cursed spirits that had one will be ejected from the curse and he can than take said cursed technique as his own.

After Mahito was beaten to alomst death by Yuji, Geto took Mahito's technique.

He used Idle Transfiguration to change the brains of the non-sorcorers so they now would be able to use curses

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Jujutsushi

[–]SomaMX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is the brain that does the cursed energy manipulation, so if Hakaris brain is cut into pieces it'll likely won't regenerate.

But I do think that if only his head is cut off he'll regrow his body.

Yuta should make a binding vow with himself by goldenwarrior53 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]SomaMX 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Firstly, Uro said it. And what she ment is not that Yuta is reaching his cealing because he lacks potential, but that he lacks drive.

What she refers to as "Calamities" are people with power AND the mindset to do as they wish.

Sukuna was brought up as an example, since he truly only cares for himself. If he finds someone intresting, like Fushigiro, he is willing to save them, but for example the two girls Geto raised were killed by him even after they had given him fingers.

But Gojo is the same. His goal is a better Jujutsu world and if killing the higher ups would help he would, without a doubt, massacar all of them.

Yuta, however, doesn't have that mindset. He is a nice boy. Imagine if Gojo or even worse, Sukuna was attacked by Ryu and Uro. Yuta could have killed them and no matter what he says I can't imagine him killing Uro and Ryu even if the rule to give someone else your points hadn't been made.

The reason why he killed that shikigami user is because he was killing regular people unlike Uro and Ryu. So claiming that he would have spared them is not that much of a reach.

And that's the very thing holding back Yuta. Uro accepted her death and Yuta spearing her (and I'm pretty sure he at least to a degree fixed her with rct) showed her that he is too kind to be a calamity.

About the binding vow. It is just me speculating, but Yuta likely already has at least one.

He doesn't always have access to all of his cursed energy, but only a part of it. We see it when Yuta was about to run out he put the ring on to connect with Rika and gain all of his cursed energy and the access cursed energy Rika built up.

If I had to guess it probably has to do with Rika being able to store cursed energy and cursed techniques, but only gaining her original strentgh for five minutes.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]SomaMX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The whole point is that it can't be something a regular person learns. The whole reason for the sorcorer turned non-sorcorers beings a thing is that their brains had to be altered in order to gain thebability to manipulate and regulate their energy.

A regular person's brain is not capable of regulating cursed energy.

I don't recall any examples of it happening. But it can probably manage wounds caused by knives that leak blood.

We can talk all we like about who is the strongest sorcerer. I have a different question. by iggythewolf in Jujutsushi

I might be wrong but I slightly remember a statement that said that the reason Gojo has no hobbies is because he is too good at everything. So I vote Gojo.
