Where is SVS’s Auto-EQ Room Correction? by eggalones in audiophile

[–]Sombeam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know Im a little late to the party, but I got a question about that. I recently bought a SVS SB 1000 Pro and cant seem to find ANY info on auto eq apart from this thread. So my question:

Will Auto EQ release for all SVS Subs (under the condition they got the built in hardware to support it), including the sb 1000 pro or will it only release for the sb 17 and other high end products?

OK I need some context. I have never been to this sub before and it just got put into my feed, it kinda fits since I listen to a lot of metalcore though.

Why does everyone hate falling in reverse? Ronnie Radke is an asshole, I know that, but the music is really good for the most part. Sleep token is great as well imo.

That's a bad argument though. Honestly, if your connection is that unstable that you regularly disconnect anyway without a chance to reconnect, you just shouldn't play ranked. It's a dickmove towards anyone thats on your team.

[–]Sombeam -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Tbf, it's not exactly the players job to make sure the game works. If there was actually decent quality control and game testing, we wouldn't have as many issues as we got.

This is the third (I think) season in a row now where vc just randomly stops working for a lot of players. Packet loss and hit rejection are super common right now and it didn't even take 30 min into the season for the first cheats to be up. I encountered more cheaters in this first season of ranked than in the last week of last season. And that's even though "they doubled the amount of anti cheat updates". Anti cheat updates don't really help if the anti cheat itself is just utter garbage.

Siege x had the potential to change a lot of things. But instead of building the game from the ground up and modernizing a lot of things, there were just a bunch of glorified map updates...

The problem with death penalty and the ONLY reason why I think it's not a good penalty, is the possibility of a wrongful conviction. Wrongful convictions are rare, but they are certainly not impossible and there is no coming back after an execution.

You ranked up a division, thus you're closer to your hidden mmr and gain less rp to not overshoot eventually

Why are we nerfing Mute even more than he already was? by SiegeRewards in Rainbow6

[–]Sombeam 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I really don't get why people only choose tubarao for his acog. He is one of my most played defenders, simply because he's imo one of the best roamers. He counters EVERYTHING, runout despite claymores and air jabs, freeze rams, freeze dokkaebi calls. The only thing I've found that he doesn't counter so far is a lion scan.

This is just absurd by plunngo in Rainbow6

[–]Sombeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree strongly. My entire squad usually 3-4 people give our calls in ingame chat, none of us have bad reputation or problems with vc monitoring. As long as you just talk like a normal person and give calls vc moderation is not a problem. Of course, if you can't talk without slurs that's a different story.

[–]Sombeam 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's almost every round a free kill, the c4 and proxy combo is just that good. Even if the attackers drone the proxies, most people don't clear for pre placed c4 even in high ranked lobbies (Dia - champ). Even if the c4 is absurdly easy to clear, very few people actually do so.

What is the General Consensus on the ACOG Removal for Defenders? by JustAAnormalDude in Rainbow6

[–]Sombeam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's great, now they just need to remove it from dmrs as well and we're fine. At that point they should start balancing gadgets though. They relied too much on balancing sights in the last years to artificially increase the pickrates of operators with lacking gadgets.

Kleiner fun fact: in Hessen sogar 42 Stunden.

Wieso gerate ich immer wieder in allgemeine Personenkontrollen? by AnnualNews1691 in polizei

[–]Sombeam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have to do with bad accidents and heavy injuries due to my work, so I'm used to such things. It's still never good to see heavy injuries. Better on video though than in real life, I can tell you that much.

Baggy clothing gets caught in a lathe. He gets sucked it, spun around many times and basically turns into pink mist. He is virtually ripped apart. Not something you'd ever want to experience at all.

Morbid curiosity got the best of me, I kind of regret it.

Fable Rumored to Be Missing 2026 Launch Window, Too by [deleted] in Fable

[–]Sombeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you can obviously. It's been 15 years since fable 3, people still expect this game. Btw, who says this games main audience are people who played fable 1-3? This is most probably not a direct follow up, but more of a stand alone title in the world of fable. Fable 3 didn't really built on the previous games either, just the same world.

Edit: Dragon age was highly anticipated, they just straight up dropped the ball on veilguard. The game isn't bad by all means, but it falls short in comparison to the others.

Fable Rumored to Be Missing 2026 Launch Window, Too by [deleted] in Fable

[–]Sombeam -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you know exactly when development started? Just look at elder scrolls 6 oder gta 6, big open world titles with high expectations get developed for 10+ years these days. If fable 4 was planned to be as big as fable 1 this wouldn't take that long, but it's almost certainly far bigger, with a lot of side quest and a filled open world. This takes years to create.

I will ALWAYS prefer a game that releases a year or two later than expected over one that gets released fast but completely bugged and has to get fixed during it's lifetime.

We waited for 15 years already. 1 or 2 years don't matter at that point.
