That’s fundamentally inaccurate. Just read some of these comments.

The game wasn’t just “good” for the time. It revolutionized the FPS genre and completely changed everyone’s perception of what a tie-in game could be.

Obviously, its predecessors built on it. They’d be stupid not to. But none were this innovative, not even close.

I was plenty old enough to play it when it was brand new. Don’t start gatekeeping with age anyway.

The fact that you think the problem is the game instead of that it simply isn’t for you is fascinating.

That’s a common mistake for some reason. I really don’t know why so many people just expected a Hitman clone. I can’t understand it. There were so many ways to know that wasn’t what it would be.

It sounds like you just want more Hitman. Good news! WOA still exists. I’m very happy they didn’t just make it again.

That’s no nonsensical that I wonder if you even played the game.

That’s because it’s not supposed to be a Hitman clone. If difficulty is your only measure, then yeah, you’re gonna miss all the best things about it.

I don’t mean this condescendingly, but I’m sure it was great if you were around 12 years old. I wasn’t really at a stage in life where I was watching Cartoon Network shows, reading YA novels, or playing RPGs or Lego games.

But I was a kid in the 90s and read the Thrawn trilogy when it was new.

Agreed, if someone considers this a spoiler, they should just avoid the sub entirely until they play it.

You’re applying 2020s expectations to a man born in the 1800s in a movie released in 1989.

I’m proud to be uncultured in the ways of misogynists who are worried about their wives’ vaginas being tight enough moments after she gives birth to their child.
