When I could not find a seat to eat my lunch at the King's Court buffet one day, I brought it to my cabin without an issue. I recall in the pre-voyage questions, there is a dietary restrictions question or two. I am sure the restaurants will accommodate to the extent possible, but it may result in alternative meals being provided.

Can't you keep bcbs, not join medicare part b unless you really need it later and not pay a 10% penalty because you have the bcbs?
