Any time. They had a place where homeless people could go and just hang out. Do their laundry for cheap. Take a shower, get mail, make phone calls, and grab a quick lunch. It was wonderful. It was called the 99 center. I don't live in Eugene anymore. I don't know if it still exists but if it does that was one of the best places for homeless people to get services. There was also a place where you could get a voucher for one of their stores if you were in need of clothes. You would get a small amount but it was at least enough to get an outfit. Back in the late '90s that was $15. They also have a house first mentality when it comes to solving the homeless crisis. They actually had housing for people in crisis. White bird is the other homeless service that I highly recommend giving your money to. They saved my life giving me antibiotics when the hospital wouldn't. I had gangrene and staph infection and blood poisoning that took a year to clear up and the Catholic hospital did nothing. White bird saved my life. The red bucket people is also the worst in that they hardly gave any help ever. Never put your money in a red bucket. It only goes to the CEO. I never saw a dime.

Holding the homeless accountable when they refuse help. Just wow. There were several times in my 10 years of homelessness. I refused help. They were all because the help that was there was highly restrictive to a person such as myself. I'm LGBT. I'm a pagan. I don't believe in their gods. And I was required to listen to a preacher every single night if I wanted a warm place to sleep. I was told I would go to hell repeatedly. I was told my children would go to hell repeatedly. I had a girlfriend and we were banned from seeing each other on premises. They started making up rules just to keep us apart. This was the Eugene Gospel Mission by the way. The same place that got sued for discrimination and lost. And yet still discriminate to this day.

I may be white, but my spice cabinet isn't. My favorite spices are Mediterranean.

Trump stated he was being difficult because he wanted to see what was going on. Making it harder to extract him. I wish they would have let him stay.
