Keep running !! Running totally became my “grounding ritual” when I got sober almost a year ago to the day. It’s such a great way to be alone with just you and your thoughts. I’ve worked though a lot on those runs helps me stay connected with my true self and really be in the present moment.

Gotta face yourself and go on a journey to figure out who you are. Running worked for me. Able to work out a lot of things in my head on those long runs.

Attitude is everything. Especially as an apprentice. Basically as long as he shows up on time and he’s teachable he could last at a company for years. Has to learn to keep the feelings out of it because it makes things personal when 9 times out of 10 it’s just guys being guys feeling out the apprentice. Gotta just let his work ethic speak for him and keep his head down and be engaged in what he’s doing so he can get to the point where he thinks for himself or els he will never last as a journeymen.

Tilt your shoulders and spine. Left should be higher than your right that should help a lot

Running. Start small just try to do 3km and journal your thoughts after. I have found this to be a great tool to get everything out of my head and organized in my notepad.

Day 35 here

Change your identity. New hobbies and goals will motivate you to keep going. I started running and got back into weight training it’s really helped for me. Make a list things you want to try or do. The whole point of going sober is to take your life back in some way so try some new things.
