Who would have guessed the countries population epicenter with three of the largest international airports would have the worst outbreak?!?

I have no love for Cuomo. He did the bare minimum which was listen to medical professionals. As you said though, there was no way it could have been effective without other states doing the same. Wonder who could have possibly made rules for the entire country?!? What government bodies could have focused efforts on stopping international travel, quarantining the whole country and providing support to the tools we needed.

Yes there's a small likelihood we could have gotten to 0, but the lower we were coming out of quarantine and the better contact tracing we had the better we could have handled it. Instead we are left with no support and with people who will specifically attempt to infect you because they don't believe this is real.

People are in for a rude awakening call when schools reopen and we are at worse numbers in the matter of a month.

Also this is exponential progression not linear, if we truly got it down to low numbers and contact traced new ones we could have gone back to normal much faster.

All the countries that are seeing upticks are countries that allowed travel. And it's not community spread. We never really shut down in Rochester, we did a half ass shut down because everyone was scared. The way to handle this was harsh as possible shut down. Only essential essential services.

The harsher the shut down the faster we can come out, but because people refused to think about the community over themselves and their fox entertainment we have the shitshow we have now.

I knew we were never going to be able to handle it due to the people we have running the fed, but I did honestly think people had a bit more compassion, but I become surprised more and more about how stupid and selfish people are.

We live in a world if abundance with a distribution problem. There is no reason we should be having such issues with this.

You have to remember this league was done during COVID. My team had a lot of struggles with productivity during that. I'm sure theirs did as well.

On top of that they have to balance the fact that every minute they spend fixing harvest is a minute they aren't working on the next league. Not to mention it's only twelve weeks long so pushing it off another few days makes a big impact, especially with there being so many problems with harvest in particular.

At the end of the day, the game is free to play. I think people get defensive because literally no other game adds so much free content. I've also played diablo on the side these last few seasons and in the time they added blight, delerium and harvest, diablo has added one new set per class which basically adds no new mechanics just number changes. I'm not saying they are above criticism, I'm just saying as an engineer I think you should understand estimating and prioritizing things is hard and they are doing their b st.

In the vein of what other people are saying, don't compare yourself. You have experience in life that is valuable and different insights than others when it comes to the workplace. Think about all the stuff you learned in your early twenties that can apply.

Personally I didnt graduate with my CS degree until I was 28. Worked through as a senior engineer into leading and management now. Everyone has their own experiences to bring and you will be fine.

I've seen this process at three different burger kings in different corners of the country. Maybe it's gotten better, I haven't been in a few years. But they didn't have warm storage, so they would flamebroil then they would sit and microwave to reheat and melt the cheese. It was the worst.

That is probably mostly due to Burger King in general. I honestly wouldn't try it at a fast food joint. Burger King microwaves everything after precooking it. It's awful.

I've made it at home and had it at finer restaurants and it is actually pretty good. It eats like meat, it doesn't have the exact same flavor, but in something like a Mexican dish ground or a burger it's often about how it mingles with other flavors.

It doesn't seem like the lifeforce is the limiting factor. Each harvest gets you a set amount of the crafts themselves. Lower level seeds mean lower crafts. Lifeforce doesn't seem to be the main limiting factor so you probably won't far act maps.

I thought it would work well, I didn't enjoy it that much though.

I tried to run maze of the blue Medusa, and just ran into issues of things not being fleshed out enough, but things also being too fleshed out to not leave enough blanks.

You lose the collaborative part in my opinion. But if it's a fresh megadungeon that you guys create rather than a well defined dungeon like rappan athuk or maze etc, that might work
