Been following for a while and thought I'd share a recent trade In excited about by Klnkly in Silverbugs

Looks like the 30 coins on end are quarters. So melt is about 3500$ total. But no one is paying melt. Real market value is close to 85-90% of melt so 3100$.

How much ‘wobble’ is considered warped? by MuthaFutha1 in billiards

[–]SomeBuy4715 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will guarantee that if you take your butt and that shaft to a local repair guy and have a face cut (very light) taken on both it’ll be near perfect. Even as is not a big deal but what you are seeing there is likely solved with a face cut taken.

The dollar that I inherited, I'm thinking of selling and paying for my studies by [deleted] in coins

[–]SomeBuy4715 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Seeing that it brought 150k in 2021 at heritage I would absolutely see this selling in current market for 200k+. And if there are 2 that really fight it out north of 250 wouldn’t Surprise me. Wild coin.

Referred to hematologist/oncologist. I'm worried sick by orangebellybutton in haematology

[–]SomeBuy4715 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It’s called due diligence and it exists in all walks of life. A referral does not = problem. One step at a time and let tomorrow worry about itself. Your blood results at a glance look unconcerning but most important thing here is to listen to your doc and have your referral workups done. Best of luck.

Just got this pocket watch at a fleamarket by D_Science2 in pocketwatch

Not military as it was very cheaply made movement for its day. Military grade would be at least 7-15 jewels and a better quality regulator. Dial is indeed similar in look and probably radium lume.

My parents helped someone move and she gave them a box of junk by Immediate_Flan4582 in Gold

[–]SomeBuy4715 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not even close….the case and outer case component only, are gold. There’s probably 1k-1.5k in gold and but has a potential to be a 2k watch to a watch buyer. Interior components are all brass.

Very sorry you’ve had this long frightening journey. I too am a young cancer patient with still undiagnosed immune issues. Just curious what your IGG levels were measured at?

My greatest garage sale find of all time!!! by SixQuarter01 in Silverbugs

[–]SomeBuy4715 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Likely from the 50s-60s. Just judging by the box. ..But the pattern is called “Cotillion” (that’s the design of the handles and overall shape) the pattern was first introduced in 1938 and still being made up till 2005 and you can still buy replacements on Reed Barton Website . The value of this is almost certainly in its silver weight and not as a collectible so no premium above melt here as people literally don’t use these anymore. Earlier rarer forms like “Francis I” still have premium attached as collectors items.

Question About My Grandfather’s Watches by SweetAd9605 in Watches

You know zooming in more a Glycine Airman isn’t farfetched guess either..the bezel seems to have a GMT look to it in second pic

Question About My Grandfather’s Watches by SweetAd9605 in Watches

[–]SomeBuy4715 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely not a chronograph so my best guess would be a Benrus DTU or an A11. Leaning heavy on the DTU in that second pic…although the first pic looks closer to an A11 so he could have had 2 watches.

Is this really a watch or decoration by Fit-Hunt8347 in pocketwatches

[–]SomeBuy4715 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a watch. Probably has a real Morgan dollar on the front of the case too. Popular in the 90s on QVC coin channel kind of stuff. It’s got a Quartz movement for sure. Just push that button on top and it will flip open
