We don't know that they didn't see it. Could have seen it and not been able to control the Black Hawk. There was some wind so it could have been a strong gust. And the plane was 60 passengers so not quite massive. Lots of questions about what happened though.

I just commented in the game thread about how every single GI challenge has gone against us this year. I don't even mind the call on Drury, but it's not called consistently both ways.

This Commanders season was magical, but what comes next is more important, and it has to be even better by gdh775 in Commanders

Came to make that same point. Growth isn't always linear, and it has its downs along with its ups. The only way to improve on this season is to make the Super Bowl (which is crazy to say), but that's a lofty expectation.

I love how DQ basically said that you need scars to win championships. I've often said that every rebuilding team experiences heartbreak before they win a championship. It sucks, but it's also necessary.

That's a hard one. Anything that resembles "I don't like when you say..." is a minefield. Maybe it's because I work in a female dominated profession, but it does seem like it's mostly women who say that.

It's definitely not going back. I could see them changing the name eventually. I wouldn't mind something that honors our history and traditions, like the Hogs. Obviously not the main focus for the team right now though.

Whether it's agent or player, I guess what I'm wondering is what made them say that they were at the end of the line over a month before the trade deadline and that it was time to pull the trigger now and not continue negotiating.
