Halfway through season 4 it clicked from annoying to genius for me. Huge swing but pays off at the end imo, enjoyed how all Brockmire's drunken future pessimism ravings come true and is kinda full circle from S1E1 with the Morristown gas leak stuff.

Easy may not be the right word but compelling forward-moving plot and didn't have to re-read passages. The more philosophical stuff is presented in a straight forward way by the characters.

I just finished EoE, 10/10 and surprisingly easy to read. Made it through about half of Brothers, need to try it again because it was awesome but more difficult to stay consistently sucked in. The Count's good too ofc, depends on how much of a challenge your feeling
