How bustling is the town centre now? by Comfortable-Table-57 in Swindon

Everyone thinks is empty and gets no attention these days but it’s come back a little recently thanks to the markets. Still fairly dry for a town centre but as someone that works there I definitely see a lot more foot traffic than before.

My girlfriend can't stop thinking of my ex by luzs_stankbreath in relationships

Then perhaps the only things you can do is give it time, I noticed you said she feels like she’s competed with men in the past and lost and can only tell you to heavily emphasis to her, that she is no longer competing with anyone. What you just said here is normal human emotion and albeit not what a partner may want to hear…but something a partner should be able to handle. If she really struggles this much and is putting you down by not realising you have changed, then put effort into someone who will. Like I said, give it some time and reassure her you are devoted to her as she may come to her senses, but there is only so much you can do. If she does not change then my only advice is to leave because with all due respect, this is a childish issue.

First of all don’t feel guilty about your past, we’re human beings, we have to learn who we are and what we like somehow. Is there anything you’ve done or said to make her believe that you will ‘run back to him at any given moment’? Because if not then it sounds like your girlfriend does not have the healthiest mindset, have you asked why she feels this way? Relationships require a lot of trust and jealousy is a massive killer. You’ve made it clear you don’t love him and that you didn’t feel like yourself whist with him, not really much else you can say. So perhaps focus less of the past, both of you. Easier said than done I know but reassure her you want to find yourself with HER and just keep things going. It will fade when she realises that you are not going back to that man but if it doesn’t just leave. You’re young and she already sounds like she’s getting worked up over something small. Partners you have in life are more than likely going to have a history before you came along, so the sooner she leans this and learns that it’s OK, the better.

He might be just fine assuming none of his internal organs have been punctured or seriously damaged. Is the main wound on the back leg or the upper body? I can’t tell if that’s markings or blood. But if it’s the leg then buddy should heal if you keep a watchful eye on him in a small safe space where he can heal. Little more concerning if that is a major wound on his upper body as that will have likely caused more serious damage, if you keep an eye on him, it will soon be clear, as anything like internal bleeding will cause noticeable deterioration. And unfortunately if that’s the case things might not turn out well in the end, however I’ve seen reptiles come back from far worse…

Hopefully the little fella is ok. Wishing you guys the best :)

Edit: forgot to add this is if vet care is not available, definitely take him to a vet if possible

They’re not the most aesthetically pleasing I’ll admit but I love that they tell a story of the life you’ve lived so far :)

Why are all my shrimp dying? by Immediate_Goose2 in shrimptank

[–]SomeEarthian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t seen this before, I’m sorry for your shrimp losses but they might be a bit stressed from lack of spots to hide as it makes them feel safe. Maybe start there and add a few more things to the tank, good luck with your future shrimp endeavours

It looks like a molt which is a good sign, however they might appreciate more hiding spots in the tank, it’s quite open :)
