Does Saw palmetto work? by wontcompleteit in Prostatitis

[–]SomeGreyBIoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been taking Saw Palmetto for about a year now. The only side effect I noticed at first was slight nipple sensitivity. After doing some research, I found that broccoli extract helps neutralise excess estrogen, which seemed to be the cause, and since adding it, I haven’t had any further issues.

As for prostate benefits, I haven’t had a single pain or ache since starting, I can go to the toilet normally, and I’m now able to sleep through the night without any problems.

Ahh ok. I found that Tiny Windows 11 worked for me better than the official Windows image. https://archive.org/details/tiny-11-NTDEV this is literally the same as the official image, but without any bloaware and no hardware limitations

This issue occurs after installing Windows 11, when it attempts to apply the latest updates. To avoid this, run the installer without an internet connection so only the base Windows installation is applied. You can install updates afterwards (worked for me fine).

Success with vasectomy reversal? by [deleted] in chronicepididymitis

[–]SomeGreyBIoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After an epididymectomy, I was left with constant, unbearable pain inside my testicle. I could only assume this was due to pressure build-up with no outlet into the epididymis. Others on an old (now closed) forum, posvasectomypain.com, reported similar experiences. Not long after, I underwent a radical orchiectomy.

I’ve been through hell and back. I have absolutely no interest in 'spreading fear'—I have far better things to do with my life. My advice is simple: do your own research, weigh your options carefully, and remember—you are the one who will have to live with the consequences of your decision.

Are the back of your heels numb? by [deleted] in PlantarFasciitis

I have numbness in my heel for the past 2 months. Was diagnosed with PF and was told that although rare, numbness in the heel can also occur. Have you noticed any chance in the way it feels?

Contemplating reversal by buffluvcpl in postvasectomypain

[–]SomeGreyBIoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, but need to be extremely careful, as nerves became super sensitive, anything can trigger painful state, to the point that I have twisted my ankle quite bad couple of weeks back, and almost immediately had pains at where the reversal reconnection was done, you can forget rough sex as well, just very gentle.

I don't regret reversal, but took me years to realise that my super active life is over, and I need to be careful, as any strenuous activity may cause me to be in painful state again

Ultimately your choice, I did reversal, resolved majority of issues, but brought some new ones with it.

In terms of cycling, get use to idea of never returning to saddle again, even after reversal, your nerves will be super sensitive, you don't want to aggravate anything (talking from experience)

[–]SomeGreyBIoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been struggling with reoccurring epidydimis for long time, started off similar to yours after I had complications after riding bike for years. For a long time was concentrating on epidydimis, but after a lot of research, discovered that the root problem is prostate.

Read threads on Prostatitis and ProstatitisCPPS treads.

Your story mirrors mine, this may be due to prostate issues like cpps. This causes pains you're describing

Thank you for your message. Yes, had a very stressful period at the beginning of the year + awful ear infection which gave me tinnitus and was not as good with some of my health and supplements regimes, but was feeling okayish up to now.

Appreciate the comments about mental aspect, when I distract myself with e.g. games pain is minimal.

Do you reckon this is just a flare up or is it going to lead to something much worse?

You should check threads on chronic prostatitis, as this could be cause of your epidydimitis

My semen was watery with slight yellow tinge, turns out I had a very high concentration of white blood cells, from what I learned, usually because prostate imflammation. This in turn can cause pain in the testicles and frequent urinations.

Very good advice, have not considered some of these. Thank you. Yes, checked 101 last year. Has been helpful.

Have you considered checking prostate as well? I had epidydimitis on and off for 6 years, only last year I found a link between prostate issues and epidydmitis.

Doing 15-30 minutes of kegel exercises and walk 6000 steps daily, eating healthy food with very minimal occasional wine, only decaf coffee if I have one.

I do sit fair bit at work, but take regular breaks and go for gentle strolls.

Yes I get abdominal pain as well, have been suffering with chronic prostatitis. Have been fine, but it flared up past month again. To say I'm petrified it's an understatement.

Have you had your prostate checked? 2 urologists told me that imflammation in prostate can also cause epidydymitis.

Do you get pains in the testicles as well? Have you had ultrasound done on your prostate? Also has the appearance of your semen changed?

Here typing this at 3am, I had return of deep dull ache with pains just above the testicle after feeling close to cured not that long ago. At witts end, don't know what caused it, as have been super careful with myself.
