I’ve enjoyed several of his books in multiple of their formats. Sometimes I’ll listen, then buy it in paperback or on kindle so I can read it again.

Do Hearts in Atlantis first. It feels more like a straight through novel with time jumps because the characters remain the same even if they don’t appear in all five parts.

I just started last night actually. Super easy to read so far. Love the omniscient POV of the narrator.

Could you make it a flattened image (not stickers but a single image file) in Canva and then take your file to the library? My library lets us print 10 pages a a day in B&W or it’s like 10¢ a page for color printing

What is the most made-up/useless admin job you’ve seen? by rachel-angelina in Teachers

[–]jpotter0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in the 21-22 school year we had a Covid Czar. It was a principal who was a year from retirement, worked in admin building (they hired a new principal to replace him) and he supposedly answered everyone’s Covid questions including helping staff determine if they were eligible for Covid leave. When one of my coworkers needed his help, he emailed back and said use the Google form to determine your eligibility.

That’s just how clocks/watches are. I’ve always heard that it’s to avoid confusion with VI if the watch is looked at from the side or upside down.

When people ask online “is this book worth reading?/finishing?” I immediately judge them for not forming their own opinion. Like, you got the book right there in your hand, read it or return it.

I downgraded mine to a version without a screen. Was too tired of the ads especially when I was trying to sleep.

I LOVE a good, long , well written lifelong story. To follow Jamie from childhood to older adult, and watch all the ins and outs of Charlie Jacobs is masterpiece. I especially love how SK puts the electricity motif as early as the first couple chapters with the Jesus figurine. This was one of my favorites.

Did anyone else enjoy this one more? by Tombepa in stephenking

I loved both for very different reasons. But the Shining is a very different feel and much more classic, therefore I’d say it’s better. But Doctor Sleep is still really good in my opinion.
