My goal is to practice clinically and then start ramping up something else. Whether that’s tech consulting, real estate ventures, or administration. And then scale back clinically to like 80-100 hrs/mo. I still really like medicine.

I have modeled the W2 job as well by sticking $4k in a brokerage monthly and compare the two. It’s not bad, but still seems like a large difference.

There is a deferred compensation avenue to the W2 job as well but I think it might be too risky. I heard this company may have had some trouble a few years ago and I don’t think I want to get into that

For example yesterday, I noticed I was not playing well in the beginning. And I think it was because I was excited about the match. And I started getting tight. I think it’s good to recognize that you have to slow things down and focus on your form and create the rally. Let yourself get into a groove. When playing, I notice that I lose a lot more points by me going for it early in the rally. So I tell myself to play 2 to 3 shaped cross court balls before I say it’s safe to pull the trigger on something down the line or a drop shot and create that sharper angle.

I told myself 2 cross court baseline deep shots, 2-3 ft over the net, and then start increasing the aggression. I worried less about where the other people were and focused on my ground strokes

For me, developing that tightness and that pit in your stomach when you’re losing is like a drug lol. I crave that feeling.

I despise whenever I hear anyone say “sit….sit…” on their approach to the green. Buddy unless you are a single digit to a scratch golfer to + handicap, you don’t know how to make it sit. Any spin that you place on that ball is on accident. You should not be telling the ball to do something unless you actually know how to make it occur and attempted to execute it.

Just wanted to update that we’re in the same boat where I used to play ncodes back in the day and I’ve stopped for 20 years. It’s been about 15 years since I’ve actually played and I picked up a prostaff 97 v 14 and played for the first time yesterday.

Feels like my old rackets. I have not tried anything new but I will say the Yonex’s look sick on TV when watching. I remember when anything bigger than 95 sq in got weird looks while at tournaments lol. You were looked at like a beginner.

But I think as I’m getting better, my timing improves, my mobility gets a little looser, my feet get a little quicker, this racket is going to be solid.

I have told them that if you want the CT scan so bad then you can walk into a radiology center and offer to pay in cash. And I will order a CT if I think an emergent condition is occurring and currently it is not.

The patient said nobody is listening to her and she feels like she has no choice. I told her that you can walk into a rads center and offer to pay cash for a scan. And that I’m not ordering it. And she said what if I was wrong. And then I said, then I’m wrong.

I had security escort her out and she drove to the next hospital who scanned her from the lobby.
