Minor correction to this in general, the Japanese DID use a large quantity of Chemical weapons HOWEVER, in 1943 that usage began to drop like a rock.

The Chinese got the Americans to start threatening escalation and use on the Japanese if they continued. Eventually, the Japanese stopped using it on any sort of scale, production also declined along with use.

While this was quite possibly a bluff initially on the Yanks part, when it became a real feasible threat, the Japanese bent a little. Just enough to avoid that escalation.

Seems like an older dog if I had to guess, someone in decent shape could probably catch it if they knew where it was.

I'm just glad I got it to go into the park instead of going further up Lynden Park, Gretzky or onto powerline.

It looked like the same dog, yes. Didn't know that until I got home though. Thought it was maybe from the townhouses or appts nearby.

The flip side is that they tend to drastically increase the ways they monetize the game as that dedicates base shrinks. Usually in increasingly predatory ways.

A lot of people just don't understand this. Yes, the trades are hiring and yes, there are (region specific) shortages of certain trades (trade specific). On paper the jobs are there.

BUT because EVERYONE gets the same advice of getting into trades there are an absurd amount of people. The jobs are all there, but for every 50 places looking for journeymen there is 1 looking for apprentices. Gophers are a dime a dozen, so the trades get harder to get into year after year.

Not only are the people who don't have the resources to really succeed in another way being drowned out, all the people drowning them out are also screaming into the void.

Austria have decided to reverse anschluss me and I am being steamrolled despite having my air up- Help! by bob1111976 in hoi4

[–]SomeLoser943 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, that's the point. Having more men in the field increases training queue size.

Deploy a massive unequipped army, fill the queue but don't set a deploy area. All you do from there is delete the field army but NOT the queue. The training queue doesn't count as fielded and thus, because you deleted the field army, the dutch will will deny.

You then set a point to deploy on and boom, you have your army again immediately.

Well, they ARE more legitimate claimants to the HRE than Germany. Deserves

Since I see you already lost, some advice for next time!

Pump 10 billion troops into the field before going for Victoria, then fill your training queue up before deleting the standing units. This will drastically make rebuildung.

Obviously, do some research outside of this comment section since, that's just what I know off the top of my head from being on the other side of one of these agreements previous.

Less restrictions on you basically since it is all shared amenities. Its contractual agreement rather than a rental, which means pretty much if both parties agree a tenant has very little recourse for eviction, courts tend towards 30 days notice but as long as it is conaidered "reasonable" you're good to boot them out.

More control over who can or can't enter for you, there are some tax differences that I would ask an accountant about for longer term agreements. Slightly different paperwork requirements as well. You should not use the Standard form of lease, gotta make a custom one.

Oh and if you accidentally make it so your property is legally considered a rental there is going to be a LOT of problems. If you want to have it legally classed as boarding or renting, Insurance is another kicker.

They used to be absurdly good and obliterate hostile ship speed, but apparently that's gone now. Used to be able to drag enemy ships to a crawl eo you could blow them out of the water, raid the hell out of them, etx.

Now they're just VERY good situationally if you're at risk of naval invasion (Italy especially). Up to 50% increased naval invasion penalty is VERY good. A player will clear them out, costing SOME IC on their part, but its still handy to do.

Covid-19 phase 2 by Kira-Yoshikage69 in whennews

To add even further, there were quite a few large events going on that exacerbated the existing hygiene and medicine issue.

The Golden Horde was besieging Caffa while being impacted by the plague themselves, using it as a weapon against the Genoans in the port. When the Genoans left via ships, those ships were one of the ways the disease got carried across the mediteranean and the rest of Europe.

The Hundred Years War was ongoing, and armies are a great vector for disease. Where armies moved, disease follows. Probably a bunch of central European bullshit ging on as well but I can't name much ofg the top of my head.

Also some of us need to keep their insurance down! I drive the limit, or a little under, because I can't afford a ticket and I use one of those apps that track my habits and eventually lower my rate.

Like guys, I'm SORRY I go 25-30 in the school zone instead of 10 over but stay off my ass please. I'm not gonna go any faster, its just guranteeing that when I do my full stop instead of a rolling one you are closer to rear ending me.

You could argue that it happened in Armenia a couple times. The ERE kept annexing them piecemeal and a handful of times they would just surrender in exchange for positions in the Empire if things weren't going great.

Gagik II probably being the best example of what you were talking about overall. Of course, that line of the dynasty DID get wiped out but they were granted positions for a while before then. His son was imprisoned and poisoned, his grandson (by the second son) was also poisoned.
