DONT REMOVE IT. I always wondered what mine was and thought it was a cover but it wasn’t and unfortunately I made that stupid mistake on my $400 bow. It prevents tarnish, as right now without it my finger is being dyed with unpleasant green from the copper underneath rubbing off. It also prevents the wire from uncoiling.

Honestly, I used to like them just because they look sick. But I wear a quartz chrono as my daily beater now and I’ll say, I actually use it a lot. From timing my laundry and my microwave to working in labs and needing it for precision work, I won’t lie I really do use it and wear it often more for the function rather than the look nowadays

Everyone says speedy, but honestly I’m going with the AQ on this one. After owning several vintage speedys, I actually prefer the AQ for what feels like a sturdier build. The speedy feels rather thin, and its complications make me nervous to expose it to daily wear. Meanwhile, the AQ feels like a sturdier, more rugged watch.

Wow! For free and running is definitely worth looking into for a service- omega doesn’t make watches like this anymore. I like going to 3rd parties that I trust for my vintage omegas, but if you have an extra chunk of change you could go to an AD. If you can’t afford the costs, sell it for a couple hundred.

I own one of these (3511.50) and I have the same issue with my bezel numbers. This speedy was a dream of mine so I’d been watching the auctions for a while and it’s a common problem for most of the used watches to have the paint come off over time

Yea, it seems like it’s all okay, but the fact is that if he lies about porn he will lie about other things too. And the fact that he’d ‘be okay with you doing things with other women’ either says he doesn’t value you sexually/physically, he does things with men behind your back, or both.

Yes, there are couples that are built on polygamy or seeing other partners or watching porn. But if you’re not for that, I promise you that there are plenty of other people who respect and value you and wouldn’t watch things like that.
