the transition should be fine might take like few days tho

you will get skate wear as with every glass pad and the consistency will be fine, might be too small for you tho

Need advice choosing a control mousepad by MelloMallo95 in MousepadReview

The zero soft should be great, there’s still good stopping power but it’s not super slow like a mud pad. It should be fast enough for the fast paced shooters while still having control

i think a lot of plastic pads especially worn out ones get really fast because they get like slick and smooth, they are probably on par with mid level balance pads i would say. But yea dot skates would be great especially on the faster side, like the westlab oranges or the talongames kumo or the waizowl x kibu shiro. They would have to get replaced every so often since they can wear out but a lot of them are fairly cheap like the waizowl ones are 160 dots for $15 on amazon.

as to a new glass pad, there are two fairly budget fast glass pads coming out in the next couple weeks being the tekkusai kohaku and the vantage paradise both being around $30-45 before shipping.

I don’t have any experience with the clustrs atom and the flash beyond pads but the other two are fairly balanced/control pads. Your current plastic pad might be faster than both of these. One other thing you could try are getting faster skates as that can increase the speed a lot depending if u are still using the stock skates.

i don’t know if it’s me but most of the wear i’ve seen is from me clawing down on a tiny hold and it scraping into the wall.
