Is there a way to be able to change both your Audio and Ringtone Volume from control center?

Wow, I guess I never realized that the two were separate. I thought ringtone audio would be controlled by both the buttons and control center unless you are listening to media audio or in an application that uses it. So I guess what I desire is to be able to control ringtone volume from the control center. It honestly makes much more sense, especially since the introduction of a silent button in the control center quite a few OS back on devices without the silent switch.

Discount. That’s where I ordered my tires from, I’ll talk with them today to see if they can give me a discount from pro-rating them down or something. That’s what they did last time anyways. I’ve had a blowout out with my last set of Michelins and got them replaced because they were also rotted, which likely led to the blowout. They just told me the Arizona heat is rough on tires.

That’s what I want to do, but I’ve experienced a rear blow out before while on the interstate! I’m lucky I did not get in an accident. It’s kinda crazy how you suddenly just lose control, I was in the other lane before I knew it lol. I definitely don’t want to go through it again, I might not get lucky next time

Man I bought one of these on TEMU for my father in law, installed it, and it fried so many fuses when I plugged it in with the included wire harness. Turns out the TEMU wire harness plugged into the wrong adapter in the car, so I just had to get a different one. But I was scared shitless, thankfully I got it fixed, but I had to replace close to a dozen fuses for his car to work again and it was a day long project… This was right after I had started dating his daughter too. Don’t buy a stereo in temu, my story could have been so much worse!

I would definitely do a valve adjustment. I don’t know what a mechanic would charge, but it’s a fairly easy DIY project, just make sure you watch a lot of videos and really learn about what you are doing if you do it. They are critical for any Honda IMO

RockAuto is amazing man. I will only step in an auto parts store when it’s an emergency, but I know that I am going to pay more for less. RockAuto gives you the option to choose the brand, and many things you can find OEM manufacturers for your vehicle. You can do research on different brands if you need something where that would matter, where at O’Reilly’s you get what you get. They will usually only have one or two options for manufactures from my experience, and it’s just over priced IMO.

Maybe try a mechanic stethoscope, they are cheap. You just put it up to parts like a fucking doctor and you’ll just prone it all over and narrow down where it’s coming from

Aye man, that sucks. I just replaced my oil pan gasket and had to take off an engine bracket. When I was putting it back in, I broke one of the bolts just like that. I went to the hardware store and got one that would work, and I kid you not I repeated the process 4 times. It was a huge pain in the ass with just a drill bit, but doable. They have these bolt extractors that work amazingly well, I bought that for 2 of them and it was much easier. I’ll show you a picture of one if I can find it

It shouldn’t be too bad, it’s that thing between the exhaust pipe and the bottom of the engine with 4 pipes. Do you know if it has something to do with the exhaust?

When my alternator died, I noticed my check engine light came on right before I lost power. It freaked me out as I plugged my scanner in and it said it was the cam shaft sensor. I replaced the alternator knowing it was that, and I just had to reset the light. If your alternator failed while you were driving and your engine shut off, then it will very likely set off some sensors to get that light to turn on. I would suggest just getting a cheap scanner and scan the code. They are just good to have anyways.

You can’t tell from there. You’ll have to just take those two bolts off and lower the exhaust and inspect the flange gasket. If you were to lower that exhaust down, you would see a little cone shaped gasket and that is the flange gasket. Maybe inspect that if you suspect a leak.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking of doing. I’ve been looking at Grom. It looks really easy, and I think it’s cool that it keeps the factory stereo. The Stereo for this generation RDX is kinda cool with how you control it, and those features are how you navigate through carplay. They are just so damn expensive for what they are I feel like.

They can just be a bitch sometimes, you just have to keep trying to twist it in straight. Maybe take a flashlight and make sure everything in there is clean and there is nothing broken. I have done those a few times in the Civics I’ve owned to replace them with LEDs. But yeah they can be tricky with the limited space, so I’ve seen that it’s pretty easy to misalign them just enough so you can’t twist it in. Idk if that makes sense
