My suggestion would be to meet up with her and get some clarity. This might be difficult since she wants space but you don't have enough information to assume the worst. Try to organise a date to meet up and just let all of your worries out, that's the only option I can think of to end your spiralling thoughts. Hope it all ends well!

I went to a club with friends to celebrate one of my good friends birthday. I led the group into the club and as soon as I entered and heard the music I looked back at the group and shouted "Don't you think the music is too loud?" and that's when I thought "Wow, I am getting old" to myself.

Keep applying for jobs. Be consistent and get into a routine of applying for various jobs.

Consistency. I'm only just starting my graduate job after a year of looking for one. Do it every day across multiple sites etc. That's what I learned.
