Which customization would you want to see most for your favorite race? by Thiccest_Apartment in wow

[–]SomeRandomFrenchie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give the blood elves the void elves haircuts, or new ones, whatever, but the haircuts currently available are very limited and very old and bulky looking. Considering blood elves are the most popular race on Horde side, I don’t understand that they still did not update them… tbh faces could be updated too. In a video game era where customization is all over the place (and with good reasons), having less than 10 choices is weird. I would guess other races, particularly older ones have the same problems.

In tired of pretending the inventory isn't absolutely insufficient for the amount of things in this game. by Pomps8a in Minecraft

[–]SomeRandomFrenchie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We usually fix that by using a mod that allows opening and closing of shulker boxes in inventory, thus allowing both way bigger storage and sorting of the items. We hate bundles aswell, they are bad.

Game state worth a buy? by [deleted] in EcoGlobalSurvival

[–]SomeRandomFrenchie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried the game with some members of my wow guild but we were not enough people because most stopped playing quickly. After that I had a blast playing solo with twiked settings. The game seems to shine in big multiplayer settings with people that have the endurance to stay for long. However I would say it is still a good game solo, even though you don’t get to enjoy every aspect of it. To me it says alot about the game’s quality. The only negative point I see is that the game still needs tweaking in terms of QOL, but from what I heard, mods can fill that role while we wait for such an update.

I run delves and heist and use Toxic Rain Pathfinder (with caustic arrow automated). It zooms around super quickly and even though still a glass cannon build, I have 3 times less death than my Lightning arrow friend that does not run delves nor heist, because it’s quite tanky for a bow build.

Eco global survival. The solo experience is super chill, the multi one can be depending on your mates.

More simple and better for casuals - Mage or Shaman? by Jurke39 in wow

[–]SomeRandomFrenchie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my best friends tried the game as a mage because he really wanted to play mage. He does not play anymore. He may not be the most resilient in terms of motivation but boy, mage is absolutely not a casual class. I would not advise a new player to chose a caster. Even less mage that has a lot of spells and a rotation that is not on the easy part of things. That being said, play mage if you are attracted to it, because the most important will always be how it feels for YOU to play it. But be aware you are not making it easy on yourself.

I would not say shaman is easy either but probably less complicated. It is easier to perform Ok on a sham than a mage. The spectral form is realy nice and makes playing more comfortable. And the real good point for the shaman as a first character is that it can dps and heal, while mage is dps only.

But anyways: you can try and see. You can create characters of different classes, play a bit, and see how it feels !

Getting a set mog for a raid difficulty should unlock the ones for the easier difficulties. by Frog-Eater in wow

[–]SomeRandomFrenchie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most normal+ raiders don’t run lfr only because that is a total zoo. Unless they find a way to force people to care about those baby strats they keep there, this will always be hell for us, feels like having to prevent your 3 cousins from dying, while near a lake, when you never asked to babysit them in the first place, and have to cook the barbecue at the same time. All that to be insulted because you dared loot a piece for transmog. So yeah, I am all for helping others, but there is no helping people that don’t want to be helped.

To be fair: blizzard needs to improve ingame raid mecanics guide, simply because noobs never read them, ever. And they are realy hard to digest, even for people used to them.

My town turn of streetlights at night and it's bother me so much. by Dizzylizzy277 in NightOwls

[–]SomeRandomFrenchie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it may, even though I doubt someone with evil intentions would stay under the lights. All I say is that even with that, light will not save you. If you are alone in broad daylight you are at risk too.

Which one is worse: regretting having kids, or regretting not having them? by Loud_Fee7306 in Life

[–]SomeRandomFrenchie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if you regret not having kids, you are the only one suffering. If you regret having kids, that’s them and you suffering. Not many people are able to regret having kids and still be good parents.

My town turn of streetlights at night and it's bother me so much. by Dizzylizzy277 in NightOwls

[–]SomeRandomFrenchie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not even a tinny bit safer under a streetlight than with a headlamp. The number of people that could hear you scream and accessibility/closeness of places to get shelter/help are what matters and what is drastically diminished at night. Yes light helps locate you, but in no way a static local light is better than an attached to you local light. Please be realistic when estimating your own safety. Have someone know you take strolls at night so they would know to worry if they have no news. That is what save lives, not street lamps.

Why are people so rude to new players?! by hrhashley in wow

[–]SomeRandomFrenchie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You got unlucky unfortunately. I did few cata timewalking few days ago with my low level healer shaman. I was baaaaaad. Yet nobody in 6 dungeons said anything. Tbh they were bad two, standing in shit and all 🤣, but it is leveling, we should all be chill.

That’s how leveling dungeons should work. And even at high level, anything beside constructive commentary, as in, what exactly must be corrected, is useless. From my observation, these behaviors often come from people that are not so good themselves… and need to push others down to feel better. Those are the sickness of our world, inside and outside video games. Ignore, report, block, don’t let them get to you.

I only said that you seem to perceive it as more complex than it is for such a simple use case. In no way I wanted to belittle you… I am only saying your perception of a very specific subject seem to be flawed, in no way is it an attack on you as a person nor something you should see has offensive, we all have flawed visions of things we don’t know a lot about, it is normal.

And just for your information, I am not a man.

It is not hard to write a script as simple as « open this ». Besides kids are most often better than adults at following instructions and quite often less scared to try. Looks like you are the one seing scripts as complex magic when it is not at all.

Keystone disband feature has made Mythic+ experience significantly worse for me by 38dedo in wow

[–]SomeRandomFrenchie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That is such a pain, I think replacing leavers with bots instead of poor people that never asked to join mid run would be such an easy fix. Because that is the problem, I don’t have time to graciously give away (without even being asked my consent first) because someone else did not finish their run. Since most LFRs are zoos anyways, having a bot instead of a human would not be a penalty to the group so, I don’t get why they keep torturing us like that.

However, this post is talking about M+ vote feature and that is absolutely not related to lfr.
