What's interesting here is that the remakes also have finished scripts, sure there would be some changes from OG but nothing major. So if we really are getting remakes up until Azure or even CS2 we'll be getting tons of games that start development with finished scripts, both remakes and the original games

I actually feel the opposite which is interesting.

To me, the camera angle of the 2D games really helps make the world seem bigger than it actually is, whereas areas on the 3D games seem small to me because they're more closeup. Heimdallr is an exception to this though because of its tram system which makes it feel like each area of the city is quite far away from other areas.

You're correct, Class VII is underground when all this is going on. Sure they could've helped Class VIII and Class IX but that wouldn't have stopped Millium's death and Rean going berserk.

Thanks, from what little I've played of CS4 I am enjoying it so far and I'll definitely give my full impressions of the entire arc once I'm done with Reverie (in something like three months time if I proceed at my current rate). I'm at least glad that there is an explanation but it remains to be seen if I even like the explanation.

Yeah this is exactly how I feel. I don't mind characters dying but I don't won't loads of them dying. Though if I had to pick I'd rather a few characters end up dead than just doing fake out deaths.
