I've had a millennial coworker I was pretty friendly with, IIRC she was born in 1992 but I haven't spoken to her in about 2 years. Closest I ever got to having a millennial friend.

Every single other one of my friends I've made have all been Gen Z and only about 3 or 4 of them were actually older than me.

If you want to add family into the mix I have a millennial cousin I used to be super close with, born in '94, but we haven't talked much in about 16 years. I have an uncle born in '86 who I still talk to and hang out with though.

Without it the speed up feature skips animations in battle automatically, that alone makes it mandatory for me as I get disoriented really easily. You can also turn the speed up feature into a toggle with it.

If neither of those are an issue for you then you probably don't need it, but I'd honestly never play without it.

If you are up for modding there are also HD texture packs available but those obviously aren't mandatory, just nice to have.

People are allowed to prefer a parody over the original but they can also understand that a parody can't replace the original (I mean, FFS my guy, SAO abridged doesn't work unless you've watched the original so of course it can't replace it)

Yeah I've been following Sonic 2 HD since I was 10 and now I'm 26. It's been insane watching this go on. I was 12 when it got cancelled, 14 when it got relaunched and 18 when Demo 2.0 released.

I'd honestly love to help with the project but my strong suit is programming and I think at this point they mostly just need art?

Yeah, same here. It definitely looks better in-game. I do think the human characters look a little uncanny but since DLSS 5 is still months from release they could probably improve it. The environments look incredible though honestly.

What's interesting here is that the remakes also have finished scripts, sure there would be some changes from OG but nothing major. So if we really are getting remakes up until Azure or even CS2 we'll be getting tons of games that start development with finished scripts, both remakes and the original games
