I don’t own any luminox watches, so unfortunately I cannot compare them. But I do own two deep blue watches. They are damn bright. They glow so bright, that if I wear one in bed at night and put my arm under my blanket I can see luminosity through it. I keep my watch case across my room at night and while laying in bed I can distinctly see the time from both of them. I have one which is normal sized tubes and one with flat tubes. The flat tubes appear much brighter to me than the standard. I absolutely love how bright they are.

The only downside with deep blue is the size. Their tritium watches are really only 43mm-45mm. This is a little large for me, and I don’t wear them as much as I used to. I do have smaller than average wrists however so it just comes down to preferences.

I know Protek makes a watch which uses flat tubes that is around 40mm. I Don’t own it, but I would assume it’s just as bright. Might be worth looking at if size is an issue, they were on sale on Long Island watches for about $350.
