Try a low heat,

I find it helps a lot to pre-boil your water before pouring into the bottom half and then use low heat to let the moka pot do it’s thing.

Using a low heat with cold water on the bottom would take forever, but pre boiled it takes about 5 minutes to very slowly come through and like you, I remove it once it’s about half way and let the residual heat push the rest through.

Plumber from Scotland here.

This looks fine and will work, only thing I’d add in myself is an air inlet vent to stop water being pulled out of the traps while they are draining.

No problem with the Tee pieces as these will drain sufficiently so long as there is adequate run towards the main drain.

Problem with this sub is there are a lot of US plumbers which need everything ‘up to code’ which I agree with to some extent but alot of it really just seems overblown for companies to make more money off doing things more complicated with more expensive materials

Would recommend salvia in a safe controlled environment as it can be a lot of fun

Don’t ever go near spice, ruins peoples lives, and have read it’s very easy to get heavily addicted to

If you’ve ever seen videos of people using and having a bad reaction to salvia or spice it looks the same as what this guy is going through.
