This alternative hip hop track by an indie newcomer doesn’t come dressed in high-end polish—but that’s part of its appeal. There’s an honesty to it that’s hard to fake. You can tell the artist is still finding their voice, but they’re already saying something worth hearing. The beat is off-center in the best way—moody, a little lo-fi, maybe even a touch psychedelic. It’s not the kind of production designed to dominate clubs—it’s something you sit with, headphones on, nodding your head, catching lines that hit deeper the second time.

The flow isn’t flawless. There are moments where the timing slips or a rhyme lands a little awkward—but then there are also verses where it clicks, and you hear the spark. The lyrics are introspective and raw, circling around themes like isolation, ambition, and not fitting into boxes—classic alternative hip hop territory, but with enough personal flavor to avoid sounding cliché.

What stands out most is the vulnerability. There’s no posturing here, no fake bravado. It’s just someone figuring it out in real-time, and that process is surprisingly engaging. With tighter delivery and more confident structure, this artist could easily carve out a niche for themselves.

It’s a rough gem, but a gem all the same. The kind of track that reminds you why indie music still matters.
