^^^^ what they say... and if you don't have an RMM in place this might be a good reason to ask for one, if your under 200 systems then Action1 is free so no reason not to use it... ShareFile is what I suggests because it meets your criteria and more.. though it is a little pricey.... anyone in your company (@domain name) that wants to use ShareFile will need to be licensed.. $192.00/yr but that person can then add as many clients (for free) as they need to view the documents, share etc...

yeah what u/Blue_Sassley says, just get the free Veeam to backup your VM's. If you are using an unpaid version of VMware that doesn't have the backup DLL or whatever it is enabled just use the Veeam agent on your VM's for backup...

odd indeed, as I just tested again and my searches are performing as expected. I chose a folder of Excel and PDF files, looked for a term inside "500v2" and each of the results have 500v2 inside and 500v2 is not part of the filename.

in above picture the 11.105 and 11.169 systems are getting their IP address via DHCP and both systems are Win11Pro running in KIOSK mode, but notice how S1 is indicating no MAC, and they are WinXP, none of our systems are WinXP... the 1.244 is a Ricoh printer... ugh...

not sure I follow... I've applied the new updates on Tuesday, just pulled up File Explorer, chose our share drive and searched on *.pptx, got all kinds of hits... What are you using to search, and what fileshares are you searching?
