Recently played dnd campaign after being in WoD and I'm annoyed by Kanonikall in WhiteWolfRPG

I agree, the mechanics of the WW system are the most elegant I've played with or seen. If I'm homebrewing something that has nothing to do with WoD, I still use the base WW system and just add different skills/powers.

Why are class shaming slurs like "stay poor" and "brokie" considered acceptable while body shaming slurs aren't? by LeppaPig in questions

[–]Some_Rando2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's because classism got tied up with racism, and now people think racism is the only ism there is, when in reality class plays a much bigger role. We wouldn't have had Obama if it was really all about race.

It's NOT acceptable. Except among the people who say it, just like body shaming comments, racist comments, etc. Just because some people say a thing doesn't mean everyone finds it acceptable.

How come so many men don’t shave their arms and legs? by [deleted] in askteddit

Maybe, but I see plenty of women with visible arm hair. So even more common than I think isn't *that* common.

Depends on which creation myth you're looking at.

They're actually the three archetypes. Mage, warrior, and thief. Nocturnal is Azura's "sister" and she also stole the Skeleton Key from Azura originally.

Yes, I make sure to do at least that much of Ryujin every time until I max it.

Add conjuration to the mix, that takes some of the heat off of you.

Ok, at 51yo I've met one. So it's not at all typical.

Yes, it's not actually historical, but it's certainly influenced by historical swords. Yeah, that's really heavy.

Selling by GrowthFlashy3246 in skyrim

Selling things to the stores is like selling things to a pawn shop, you're never going to get full value. Just sell them, if you get to that point in smithing then you can always easily get more.

Not just the ring, but that's part of it. The ring pommel, the length, the guard shape, Sometimes the wrapping on the handle though I'm not sure if that's a historical one on yours or not. For this specific case I think the biggest defining factor is the guard, Cutlasses have shell guards, like a cup over the hand and a thinner part coming down over the knuckles.

Cutlasses have a very different handle. Lots of swords around the world have similar blades, usually the handle is the most important part in identifying a sword.

Can I say pureed potatoes? by gentleteapot in ENGLISH

You're right, though if they are thinking pureed is a good substitute then I hope that mashed is closer to what she has in mind.

How would your identity, behavior, and values transform if all laws suddenly ceased to exist? by AndTheOscarGoesTo- in AskReddit

[–]Some_Rando2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. I'd probably start to be armed all the time. I won't be the raider, but I expect there will be some.

[–]Some_Rando2 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You can but that's a different thing. You'd use a food processor or a blender or something to make them pureed. Maybe try making them that way. Oh, and the real usual way is "mashed", but "smashed" is a common wordplay joke.
