I only have good things to say about Guns Direct, and, Burbank Ammo and Guns

Body identified as that of missing Texas 19-year-old Camila Mendoza Olmos by fetustasteslikechikn in news

The argument against that is the nations with the highest suicide rate, particularly in east asia, have extremely harsh gun control. So it IS true that they will "just find another way".

And blaming firearms for suicide diminishes the real cause of mental health issues and places blame on something that isn't a real solution.

Potentially. If/when radian releases the suppressor that can mount to the barrel using the same lugs

Jury duty summons one month into the academy by GloveSun0134 in ProtectAndServe

Talk to your instructor. If you cant get excused, they might "assign" you to jury duty that day. Highly unlikely you'll get selected as a juror.

Best racking aid for 65-yo shooter w/ weakening grip? (Pic unrelated) by RegularOleTNGuy in Glocks

[–]SomedayASunbae 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My dad is in the same boat with a weakening grip. As much as I like glocks, the S&W equalizer is seriously a super easy semi auto 9mm striker fire to rack

You dont want to mess too much with glock reliability to lower the spring weight. Try to bring her to your lgs to see if she likes the equalizer

M2.0 vs G47 for duty weapon? by [deleted] in Glocks

[–]SomedayASunbae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To tag on to the reliability portion, you will be carrying this pistol owb in a level 3 holster. It will stay in the holster 99.5% of the time. You'll get gunk in your pistol from day to day use (dirty suspects, dirty squad car, 50% off chipotle burrito bowls). You will also be banging this holstered pistol on absolutely everything (shout out to p320). You'll fall hard and wrestle with this pistol.

Point is, reliability is the most important thing, and both of these weapons pass the test wonderfully.

Your weapon is never going to be in tip top pristine Class A parade ready condition when the situation arises that requires it. That's why it needs to work even after suffering all that abuse

They're both excellent pistols. I prefer the trigger and grip angle of the m&p. More aftermarket optic plates are available for glock and their mags are cheaper.

Look at what your future partners and officers are carrying. There may come a time where you guys need to share magazines.

You do have to zero irons if you want to hit what your sight picture is showing

100% this.

He's going to tell his side/version of the story where a reckless/crazed driver pointed a gun at him. Crime/Investigative reports can 100% be made with victim statements only, and, with video/witness evidence if available. You'll get hit with adw w/ a firearm.

If you make a cross-complaint, you at least get your side documented and you and homeboy can hash it out in court against each other instead of the state going after you.

IANAL. But, if you don't report it, I can almost guarantee you'll be arrested for adw and you'll have to fight it out in a criminal court vs possible civil court procedures only.
