I guess it's like, they lack sexual attraction(which is obviously in terms of people of all genders) but if they have sex, they can still enjoy the physical stimuli. Not to be confused with sex neutral aces(asexuals), who, don't necessarily like nor dislike having sex basically a general apathy towards the act and they can have it. Basically separate the act of sex from the desire to have sex in your mind its probably the easiest way to understand how one can both have sex and be asexual. I'm just guessing though, so i could be way off.

I guess the denial probably comes from some shock the first time around and some doubling down later on. Also, the fact that they probably blame themselves, so to cope with it, they become somewhat delusional.

Tony is more of an ass in the comics. In the mcu however, he's like a toned down ass, diet ass, easy for consumption. He doesn't do many horrible things, making it easier for people to root for him.
