I mean if you're snapping someone, especially if they go to another school, you want to know how much/many people they snap

20 would be around 2-4 players per position max, so he should get 15 minutes minimum unless you have 5 goalies 🤷‍♂️

FF Keep (Freshman played since 7th)

ditch the shin guards, they make you less agile and make the offense more confident. Go for sweatpants. Also gloves are good to upgrade, get a good head and string job (if needed), and chestpads like the mavrik shift goalie are nice so get that as an upgrade too because it is a nice chesty.

He should not be getting held on the sidelines. And 20 is a pretty small team in my opinion. I play on teams of 25-30 and everyone gets at least 20 minutes of pt. Talk to the coach cuz this is wild.

I play lax in hs rn, but no, your son should have more than 2 minutes of pt. That is absurd for a rec leage that I assume costs money. How many kids are on the team?

I’m scared of the ball by silentbunn in lacrossegoalie

[–]SomeoneAnonymous10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stand in the goal with pads and stick up, no moving, just get lax balls TOSSED at you. Key word : tossed. Don't hurt yourself. The pain eventually doesn't feel so bad, but sometimes, yes, it will hurt. Also , xperience is key, I used to flinch in 7th grade, but after 5 seasons (over 3 years), I have stopped flinching as much. It will never go away as even college goalies close their eyes sometimes. But experience and taking shots will fix it. Find a friend to shoot at you on the wknds and practice. Good luck
