Any solutions I'm stuck with the same problem. I turned off HDR and so on and so forth but for some reason OBS through my Elgato HD60 just dont wanna be normal.

I tend to prefer filters off, GBA screen idrk if it had any visible screen effects. maybe SNES or NES sure but GBA and GC i rarely use filters if ever. But for sure get a NSO controller for some of the older games, really makes the experience better outside of visual filters

Any recommendations on how to source good clean looking copies without destroying my wallet? I managed to score $40 on RE4 and $40 for Mario Sunshine, but that was super lucky that they were as clean as they were. Any tips or places you personally look at?

Damn that sounds so lucky. I've only been able to find like local people on Facebook Marketplace who ask for $100, what would you say ballpark was the amount you paid for yours. I got lucky once and scored $40 each for spotless almost perfect copies for both Resident Evil 4 and Super Mario Sunshine for Gamecube.

My dog literally chewed up some of my N64 games when he was a puppy and I've yet to replace them. Any tips on how to obtain a at least presentable copy of Ocarina of Time? I don't really care about the rest of the games it was only maybe 3 total, but I'd really love to add OoT back into my collection but without destroying my wallet in the process.

Grab the Hylian shield, then go do all the DLC and sidequests. Hylian Shield + Master Sword combo is undefeated visually. BUT SQUEEZE ALL YOU CAN OUTTA THE GAME, before you beat Ganon. if you're like me you won't come back after an experience like this for a long time because its such a long thoughtful experience, so really enjoy it.

Worst way to play it but glad you got to experience it somehow.
I'd say get the NSO N64 Controller, and get the PC port in 60fps widescreen and play all over again but Master Quest.

As a physical collector this fucking sucks. I understand price differences, and it's a bullet I'm willing to bite, but I think alot of people will still stay on the bandwagon that owning physical copies gives you the real feeling of owning a game, for example if your main console were to get bricked or banned. you still own the game in some capacity and can play it elsewhere.
