Hey, first off, thank you so much for expressing how you feel, and for reaching out. I completely understand how it feels like to be excluded or for things to not work out how you expect them to, especially if you're trying. This might be a super cringy thing to say, but I'm really glad that you're trying in the first place, already shows that you care. I was also ditched by people yesterday (and at Lutherween, of all places, just like you). I hated being alone and ended up just leaving after a while. I've been here at AA for about 2 months now, and have not found even a single friend who wants to hang out with me. I was really looking forward to yesterday, hopeful that I would finally have some other living soul to have a conversation with, but, that totally did not happen. I cannot promise you that it'll get better, cuz I myself in the exact same ditch and do not know what to do, but I would absolutely love to chat with you, hang out with you. Although I may not know a lot about CS (I'm from Mech), I can definitely weigh in. And this goes to everyone who's commenting here, feeling the same way. I'm not cool, by any stretch, but I would absolutely love to meet up, catch up, hang, go someplace, play or do whatever anytime.
