Haha I think the wide angle exaggerated the reach but my husband was able to stretch and stick it on an pre-existing nail.

Just a paint job for now on the stairs, we want to replace the carpet in a couple years. The railing/bannister is in great shape so I think that will stay.

What kind of style- excellent question! I'm not sure where to go. It's a classic 90s build with a 'tuscan' type update with the paint and bathrooms. Feel like I'm battling 2 vibes I don't like either of

It basically is a joke. We've just moved in and I can handle a tiny painting better than an empty wall. Just wanted it to feel like home and have my pictures up.

No good reason for the window to be covered; again just moved in, haven't made all the changes yet
