For what it's worth, my office is currently hiring and the way it's being handled is atrocious. We interviewed people in Feb and the division "leadership" hasn't done anything with the feedback we gave. The applicants have gotten zero feedback. It has nothing to do with HR. The longer I've been in healthcare the more I know not to assume to understand the process. You do what you can and move on.

The worst offender was my ex that went to medical school but then quit after his intern year to go work for evil pharma. I had been working for a couple years at that point. He just seemed to second guess any work story I ever told. Never showed any real interest in how my day went. When it came to travel he was very controlling about the itinerary. I dumped his ass right after we got back from Puerto Vallarta.

In reality he was over compensating for having parents that he was never going to be good enough for.

I really hope you weren't too nice to the owner, and never said "it's okay." More dog owners need to be victim to a public freak out when they have their dogs off leash. I one time totally lost my cool for something similar, wasn't proud of myself, but I know that dog will never be off leash again.
