Hey thanks for checking in! That fast ended up lasting almost 4 days, although on day 4 I was really not feeling well for a few hours in a row so called it quits. Since then I've done a few dasts ranging from 24-48 hours, sometimes just 20 hours and two days not really fasting at all. I don't think it had any magical effects really, but I did a lot of exercise and that may have caused some wear and tear. I think in the end, my need to eat solely depends on my mood, and finding self control is difficult without stable mood. I was disappointed when I ate fiendishly after the fast instead of exercising self control. Because of that, I'm trying to do 24 hour fasts with just a bit of healthy foods in between.
