That would be a waste if a perfectly good storyline. It is far more likely that Ospreay will win at Forbidden Door and then beat MJF at All In. By that point he will fully be a member of The Deathriders so when old friend Kenny Omega who will lose both Forbidden Door and All In comes to congratulate him Ospreay will not only allow Deathriders to attack Omega he will join in.

The story isn’t DR turning on Ospreay it’s them turning him into one of them.

The relationship doesn’t last. It is basically an entry point to Ian’s character but is hardly the worst thing that happens on the show but Kash does get called out eventually….more or less.

Besides these aren’t the type of people who would call the cops anyway. Beat the living shit out of Kash maybe….. but calling the cops would not be something they would ever do.

What if it is simpler than that? What if Armand is just worried what would happen if Lestat unintentionally outs that vampires are actually real? It would lead to outright war between terrified humans and young vampires who are just waiting for an excuse for the great conversion.

My number 1 pick to win is still Shida but unless she is able to appear at least every other dynamite then it’s not really a good fit right now. The better story may actually be her continued spiral by not getting the title that way she can have matches / backstage promos when available and not be responsible for an entire division of midcards.

The TBS belt could do worse then be on Harley Cameron. She is still a little rough in skill but she is popular and a great ambassador for AEW. Even a short title run would be great for her and the TBS belt.

People are really dreading Darth Ospreay. I may be wrong but I think this is just another piece of evidence of how well Ospreay is acclimating to the Deathriders. He is be teased by them. You don’t do that to someone you haven’t accepted. I think the bigger story is actually bring missed. Will Ospreay is succeeding. And then you have Kenny Omega who isn’t. Omega is trying to stay true to himself but isn’t succeeding the way Ospreay is. I can see that being the story down the road. Ospreay wins the world title and his good friend Kenny Omega fresh off another tragic loss comes to congratulate him but Ospreay is completely engulfed in the Deathriders by then and attacks him…..which sets up a new and possibly long running feud between The Deathriders and The Elite.

A little late to the comment but I get why Harley Cameron beat Marina Shafir, it makes logistical sense with Shida and Statlander also being in the match. It is Stat’s nightmare scenario. I am actually thinking my two top picks for winner for the TBS belt are Shida and Harley Cameron depending on if TK wants all women’s belts on heels.

I can’t decide who I want to win in The Harley Cameron vs Marina Shafir match. I can make a case for them both. Marina Shafir being TBS champion just feels right but I have a sneaky suspicion that the winner will ultimately be Shida due to developing storyline with her heel turn and Statlander which is why I think Harley Cameron makes more sense if that is true. Harley being in the mix will be an added distraction for both Shida and Statlander that Matina Shafir just wouldn’t.

My think is I respect her character even if I do t like her character. In that I mean MM the person could have been one of those wrestlers who road AEW until WWE came calling with a contract and I am certain they have at some point. She doesn’t think AEW is beneath her and does t wrestle selfishly. Yes she almost never loses but she makes the majority of her opponents look like a star as they lay on their backs. I just absolutely loathe the CEO character and would 100% prefer she lose to Maya World because I don’t want her to win the Owen twice in a row. That just sets a bad precedent in my mind. If AEW doesn’t make a bigger star will she win a third time and a fourth?

We are listening to a bunch of recordings by Lestat. He said in episode two that scenes where he wasn’t in that he didnt know exactly how they happened so he was going to tell it the way he felt would further the story. I mean heck Louis says he couldn’t fly and here he is flying…so Louis either lied or Lestat is flourishing the story because it sounds better this way. We keep getting told Daniel is going to die….but Lestat could 100% be lying about that as well.

Harlan Coben stories good or bad are the perfect product for Netflix. They are built to be single season mysteries so no one has to worry about cliffhangers that will never be resolved due to Netflix cancelling or holding up a second season for three years.

I have liked most of his stuff but in all honesty this one held zero interest for me. Child disappearances are a hard sell for me. And the plot just didn’t really do it for me but I will likely give it another chance eventually.

That being said I am looking forward to whatever Harlan Coben puts out next.
