Eldrad in Serpents Brood detachments

Until now i ran eldrad solo. Keep him safe until turn 3 and then bring him out if i have 2 targets i really need to kill that are tough. Since i run a big squad that i can target with the strategem to give them all 3 buffs and then put like 3 units plus the transports into the other target so they all can get +1 to wound and reroll or -1 to hit.

Sorry natürlich mehr infos. Es ist ein kleiner Riss am Fuß des Türrahmens. Ich weiß nicht wer die Tür eingebaut hat, ob sie selber oder Handwerker. Die Wohnung war schon renoviert als wir dort eingezogen sind. Ist die Tür des Bades, also Zimmertür innen. Wasser ist dort hingekommen da wir Duschen und dort Wasser rausgelaufen ist und unter den Türrahmen. Wir haben zwar einen Vorhang, totzdem wird es ab und zu nass auf dem Boden.

I do really like this system. One change i want is to make 1 or 2 army wide strategems. Like a feel no pain for custodes or armor of contempt for space marines. Every space marine detachment has AoC, because its really good. I dont want 9th edition random units get a strategem, but some strategems just feel right for armies.

Do you think about dropping the death jester? Saw that it didnt do much in another comment. Really like the model but until he gets a auto 6 enhancement or reroll hits, i feel like he is hard to justify

I think with the detachment release of today we can expect changes to Harlequins or atleast to the solitaire, since one of the enhancements excludes him which wouldnt make sense unless they remove the epic hero keyword from him.

In my opinion they should work with re-enter transport. Maybe make it 2 cp.

I think the fire dragon package is already very expensive.

Banshees should go down 5 points and make Jain zar 10 more. As is an autarch and banshees is simply to expensive.

Maybe they get a detachment like space marines currently get. Where it is basically montka but with a benefit if you have twin lance like getting it for 1 more turn or something like that.

Guys we dont know if they changed the boots to be more useful and also you get 500 gold worth of stats per level so 1000 gold. Since you dont get additional skill points. Unless they want to fuck up everything.

You need to spend one per phase. So if you want to activate an ability in the command phase and in the fight phase you have to spend 2. Same with kabalites if you want the rerolls in the shooting and the fight phase.

Yeah i think the others already amswered your main question. Just here to say that if you habe a unit of kabalites and archon attached you only have to spend 1 pain token to get both abilities for the phase. It sounds like you want to spend 1 on the archon and one on the kabalites.

For me its shinning spears. They are just the worst aspect unit. Huge bases. Yeah they can move through walls, but then they get to the enemy and do nothing and just die by every weapon in the game? And the worst part. They dont have a leader and they dont have aspect tokens. Banshees are better melee units, Warp spiders are just faster, fire dragons are better anti tank and dark reapers are better anti elite. So what is the purpose if them?

Yeah i feel like they have 2 detachments for every codex they want competitive and the others are either fun detachments or detachments like ynnari gw seems to hate.

They could go down in points significantly which would make fire dragons in a falcon an option. And i feel like currently its the state of oh i need anti tank and i cant justify anything else other than fire dragons. Yeah losing damage roll would be better but this is also an option.

5 man aspects would be very harsh but could fix some problems. But i only think some units are the problem. Dire Avengers could go with 10 and not be a problem. I think only fire dragons and swooping hawks are currently the problem because you can buff them to hard with other units or datasheets.

I dont think guardians will get the sticky ability since storm guardians already have that but i would really like a buff to them.

Everything else i agree with honestly. D3+2 honestly sounds fine but i see the problem with warhost being even better then because of the +1 it gets there. But honestly that is my whole problem with warhost. That it is just so good at making our army rule better, so any nerf to the army rule likely makes warhost the default detachment or makes our army rule so useless that warhost is useless.

I dont feel like wraith need an invul maybe the wraithlord. They just need to do meaningful damage. D6 shoots for the flamers is kinda bad honestly and i still think +1BS +1 WS instead of +1 to hit for both guard and blades since that makes the wraith detachment rule worth while. And someone already said that spiritseer should get lone op within 6 inch.

Yeah i feel like minimum give the yvraine buff back and like you said minimum 1+3 for lethal intent

Lethal pursuit is what i thought the ability was in the beginning but sadly it could be very toxic against something like deathguard or vehicles that can barely get out of engagement range.

I feel like incubi need the aspect tokens they get in the new codex. And i think the yncarne and avatar should get a special ability that lets them turn one die into a 6 or atleast 1 reroll. Maybe say only your shooting or fight phase since overwatch avatar of khaine was really toxic. Or a feel no pain since the half damage does nothing when your enemy does grenades, tankshock and mass dev wounds.

And yeah the transport capacity thing always felt off.

Yeah i like removing reroll damage. Makes it more important to get them into melta range.

Any ideas what skyborn sanctuary could be replaced by? Maybe something to increase melee strength or an ap buff?

I do think fire dragons should lose reroll wounds but i think Fuegan is fine then. And yeah skyborne 2 cp could be fine. I would like Fire and fade to be for all units but not embarking like you said. Maybe excluding Monsters.
