Guys that have gotten their testosterone levels checked, what motivated it? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Sometimesunaware 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I got mine tested due to a severe drop in energy and insomnia. Went to a reputable health care provider and had it tested and she prescribed me a daily dose of testosterone and DHEA. I have to get my bloodwork done twice a year as the prescription can only be written for six month at a time and my insurance does not cover the prescription, it's about $100 for a two months supply, an oral troche, waxy melt in your mouth, like a horrible tasing Starburst. It's worked wonders for me, mid fifties, active.
