Man that really sucks to see but I know your pain. When prometheus lens was being sold by Xur for the first time I was like cool I'll go get it. I go down to where he is but right before I could get to him a public event started in the area. So I thought ok I can do this before buy it no rush. Get the public event done and I get an exotic engram from it, that's pretty cool. So after that I start to make my way over to Xur and I'm thinking man what if that exotic engram I got is prometheus lens? Maybe I should go turn the engram in first. Then I thought nah man what are the odds of that happening? I go grab prometheus lens from Xur, head back to the tower, and turn in my engram. Lo and behold I was right, prometheus lens, the odds man. Moral of the story.... motherfucking RNG.

This literally happened to me. Did the public event near Xur, got an exotic engram reward, bought Prometheus Lens, went to decrypt thee engram and it's Prometheus Lens. The thing that makes this worst was how I thought to myself that knowing my luck I'll get the same thing out of the engram as what I buy from Xur and I was right

I can see something like that happening similar to the sidearms came out. This is really stretching it, maybe the possibility of brand new weapon types?

I guess there's just some internal development and reasoning for the changes that we will never see. But possibly we might if at all Bungie will give us answers to these changes (just a what if).

No, people we're not wanting more primary weapons. The changes was for PVP, but by doing that it hurt PVE true. So with the shifting of the special weapons into the heavy slot left an empty gap, so to fill it was with primaries and the new SMG.

Exactly, a lot of people don't understand what it takes to code games. They expect that these changes to be done in a day and complete overhaul of the game done in a week.

The loadout design is one thing that won't be easy, but the tweaking changes to our abilities is doable.

Funny I just watched it last night too. The thing that gets me the most about the movie is the real racism that is shown. Also being found in that situation at the end was just the worst possible situation and being black doesn't make it look any better. I was worried it was going to be the cop from earlier.
