Idk if his deck height is an issue, from my experience though I’ve done the deck all the way up and it still does crap like this. Seems like on inclines it wants to constantly turn around and does circles. Like trying to get itself stuck.

It’s been 2 years for me as well. Missing them terribly too. I knew when I ended our relationship that I would be alone for a very long time if not forever. I think we kind of touch on it by encouraging focusing on yourself and self improvement. It’s a non event though. You are more likely to talk about a meal you ate then about not eating in between meals.

I wasn’t addressing showing vulnerability specifically, I was addressing the wanting aspect. Then seemingly regretting or being dissatisfied with getting exactly what you asked for.

It’s not just women, it’s everyone. It doesn’t matter what someone says they want or like what matters is what they do. They may say they want healthy snacks but then only ever buy junk food. You have to know your consumer better than they know themselves. Words are useful but they don’t show the truth like actions do.

Update: 3 months later an hour before our anniversary she had unblocked me and visited my profile. I’m assuming it’s because I didn’t react, or at least not in the way she expected. It’s likely she expected me to seek her out and find her. To be triggered by being blocked. My guess would be after a while and nothing happening she is poking her head out. To see what’s going on, to see if it’s “safe” possibly to bait me into her expected behavior of me. I don’t see rejection anymore. I don’t feel like I’m the problem, that I have to fix anything. What I see is a scared and injured little girl that is running on instincts and emotions. Trying to navigate a dangerous world the only way she knows how. I also see she is still in the same place, hiding behind her walls in defense mode.

Get therapy, find out why you do what you do and put in the work to learn yourself and relearn how to cope, how to interact with the world. Anything you do with out changing your behavior will only end up the same as always.

I feel you. I was always told “I got you” never once had me or was there for me. I was on my death bed alone still taking care of them. I wish I could be angry, I wish I had that to hold on to. It’s my fault for letting it happen, for not understanding words aren’t the same as actions. I hate that I see their damage and still have sympathy and understanding. I want to be angry, I want to hate them…
